Sarussi Cafe Subs

Description

Known for making the best sandwiches in Florida for more than 40 years.

Sarussi Café Subs has been making top quality freshly prepared sandwiches for more than 40 years. Each one of our signature sandwiches is lovingly made with the freshest of ingredients to include our incredibly scrumptious bread, which is baked fresh in our own ovens every single day. Along with mouth-watering sandwiches, our customers receive very attentive and personalized service.

Drawing on inspiration from our Cuban heritage, we came up with the Sarussi Original Sandwich, which is made with roast pork, baked ham, mozzarella cheese, a smattering of pickles and topped off with our very own secret sauce. We were greatly honored to be featured on Food Network’s show Man vs. Food, which motivated us to double the pork, double the ham, double the cheese and pickles, along with our secret sauce to create our famous Man vs. Food sandwich. We have a broad range of selections on the menu, which caters to every individual palette. We have something for everyone whether you come for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Our mission is to stay on top by providing patrons with quality and quantity, along with warm friendly service.

I saw a video on Instagram of this place and I happened to be in the area so I decided to stop in. They got 5 stars before I even tasted the food. The people here were so polite, a little awkward but the willingness to help was the Fritanga wrap was SO GOOD. I have no words. It was just that good. The only complaint was that they could’ve added a little more churrasco to the wrap being that they charge $18 for it especially because an entire plate of that stuff is only $10 at a normal fritanga spot. Regardless, I’d return and recommend. Update: Returned… still 5 stars
Ok so here's my take on Sarussi. The staff was very nice and helpful and everything was very clean. Starting off with the appetizer, we got the queso frito and mariquitas. The queso frito was delicioso. The mariquitas were good but I tend to like them a little thinner. As for the sandwiches. We ordered the churrasco sandwich and the chorizo sandwich both sándwiches were a bit smaller then advertised. With that being said the chorizo sandwich wasn't my favorite to each their own but the churrasco was yummy. The bread on both were toasted just right with some garlic butter spread on the outside. Overall a good experience and would revisit. Try it out.
I came in and asked for a cafesito and they looked like a hot mess. The owner told me it was going to be a long wait. I asked how long and she said when the girl was done with the shakes and i said its ok, no problem ill wait. I waited 15 minutes and no one even looked at me and the area around the coffee machine looked disgusting. I've ordered food here before and the staff never seemed this rude before.
Absolutely delicious and it’s been like that for decades! If you’ve never been here and get the original Sarussi, you won’t be sorry.
So delicious! Everything was amazing! The café con leches were perfect and the sandwiches were so good! Both sandwiches were fresh and toasted perfectly. Highly recommend a sandwich because of their perfect in-house made bread. Also recommend their green cilantro sauce that tasted so fresh, I was in shock! Wish I could give 10 stars
This place lived up to the hype. The food is next level and the servers are super cool. I had the fritanga wrap with egg & avocado. The hot sauce they have is hella good too. A must visit spot in Westchester.
Are you kidding!!! Absolutely the best Cuban sandwich I have ever enjoyed. This place was recommended by a friend who grew up in Miami. Loved it and will be right back. Got the Original but every sandwhich looks amazing. The chili sauce is a must. I see why it's so loved. Server's we're great, big smiles and very helpful. If you are anywhere near this place it is a must! Parking: Can be tight. It's a busy place and shares it's parking with several businesses. Be patient, cars are coming and going
Had a great first time experience here. Had the churrasco sandwich with everything on it and fries. It was the best steak sandwich I ever had in south florida. Loaded with meat, great sauce flavor, crispy toasted bread. And the fries were great too. The waitress was very nice and the place was clean and nice looking inside. I'm pretty sure it's much better than the one in Hialeah by my house. Hopefully it's a consistent place and I'd make the drive to eat there again.
This place has some great food, the queso frito was crispy yet soft in the middle, and the fritanga wrap was OUTSTANDING! The Cuban sandwich was good too but come here for the fritanga wrap, put a little of that cilantro sauce on every bite for the best version of it.Food: 5/5
I drove from Hallandale beach to this place. Located on 40 st sw. My choice of food to celebrate my late new years on January 3 2023. I tell you right now. IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE. I got the fritanga burrito and the fritanga bowl. That's a meal for 2. I ate both‍ That's all folks
