Description

This community Dog Park was opened in 2004 after a community group raised all the necessary funds to fence, make signs, parking and water for the 6 acres and establish 4 areas for your furry friends. The park consists of an open area, small dog area, special use area and walking trails. The park is maintained and improved by your kind donations. Please follow the rules, pick up dog waste, and be a friend to all our canine companions and their owners.

What a great experience! While I was not impressed with the upkeep of the fence be careful if you bring small dogs! the size of the park and the fact that there is a wooded trail, I am incredibly pleased with! So nice to let my coonhound whom I rarely let off leash roam free in the woods!

Unexpectedly nice area fenced off into foot separate runs. Onus is placed on owners to police others as it should be a far as aggressive dogs go. In our way thru area and googled place to let dogs get out and exercise and found this gem. Nice walks through woods, also fenced.

I love this dog park. So well maintained, several fenced in areas for play so you can have a big group play or more solitary. They is also a lovely walking trail. Lots of places to explore and lots of friendly pups to play with. It is also a great place for a family reuinion.

We stopped through from out of state to let our pup stretch her legs and it was everything we needed and more! Lots of space for fetch, running, and even a super cool trail! If we lived closer, this would certainly be a frequent stop.

The place isn't very well-groomed. Toys left all over the place grass coming up from the sand. People don't pick up after their dogs not a good place to bring your animal even though my dogs were happy I was not will not be going back

Our doggo loved this park. When she got too stressed from all the dogs we went to the trail which was really nice to walk on and not worry about her running too far off. The dog park itself is pretty big. Highly recommend.

The Dog Park saus a lot about the wonderful community here. Plenty of space for dogs to run and socialize while fog owners can enjoy a chat or take a walk around the periphery themselves.

unleashed Went 07-03-2021 and had a very enjoyable afternoon. M&M had a great time. Perfect amount of activity, different dogs and owners rotating consistently in and out over a period of 2.5 hours. It could use some upkeep, but it was clean and that is what is important. I do wish there was an outhouse however!  I traveled two hours to go to this specific dog park and had no where to go to the bathroom. Had an absolute riot watching my Keeshond’s run circles in the fenced in area that has wooded trails. That by far was the best quality!

Our favorite! Lots of shade for sunny days and places to sit. The big dog side is fairly large.  The wooded hiking trail is nice. My dogs love playing here. All the people I've met here have been really responsible dog owners. We like to come here and let our dogs burn off some energy and get warm, then we drive north to the dog beach so they can swim and cool off. Makes for a great day trip!

Loved this dog park for my golden retriever & he had so much fun. Unfortunately, a few days later he got really sick and found out he had kennel cough he’s fully vaccinated too. He definitely got it from this dog park, so unfortunately we won’t be returning. It’s too bad because he had a blast. I wish they would require a permit like other parks do to make sure that all dogs are vaccinated. So, play at your own risk I guess!
