Very nice park with lots of things to do. You can choose to: Play on the dual use fields which range from little to adult league skill levels. Play basketball. Skateboard at eh skate park. Play with the kids at the play ground. Play tennis with a friend or use the self trainer wall to practice. Take a walk around the park on the trail or access the WB&A bike trail. The photos taken today are after a heavy rain so the fields are alittle wet with standing water but still in good shape. Park needs a little TLC painting i.e. home run foul polls but other then that it’s in good shape and very clean with very little trash. Thanks to the community doing there part to pick up the trash. County workers out today getting it done taken care of the grass and cleaning up. Nice park to spend an afternoon eating lunch and spending time with the family!
We're here for my son's baseball game. They have new playground equipment. The concession stand was open. The park is well taking care of Playground: New equipment Restrooms: Have Porta Pottie, and ten bathroom Dog-friendliness: Dogs on a leash Picnic area: Have two areas
I definitely recommend this park, has tennis courts located next to the senior citizens center, alongside a nice skatepark, and big basketball court. It also has a cute playground for all ages. Has a special swing for disabled. Big field with baseball field. And next to it is the Baltimore Annapolis trail. Has a concession stand but usually open with events only. Has men and women bathrooms but they are usually locked. But they have porter potties. Otherwise and very clean, safe, and fun park. They also have a couple pavilions. Very nice and big parking
We had a family reunion their 6/23-26/23. Family came from multiple states 60 plus people including children Only 4 tables provide with the pavilion Restrooms locked so we and all other people who came to the park only had Portable Potties to use. Tennis, basketball courts I would not rent anything without having more tables and well suited restrooms were you can wash hands, toilet paper etc. Playground: Nice Restrooms: Restrooms locked Only Portable Potties available we were there on a Saturday Picnic area: No
It's a nice park that has the B&A bike trail run right through it. Two baseball fields, a tennis court with a fee nets, a large wall for solo needs, a few hoops, and a skate park it's not the best, but it'll do. There is a pagoda for eating in the shade, too. If you have kids. A tiny playground is available to let them play. On a beautiful day, it's nice to have it available. Cheers! Playground: Small and standard. Restrooms: I'm not sure if they're currently working. Dog-friendliness: I take my dog on the trail. Picnic area: A small pagoda by the trail.
Top outdoor basketball court if your looking for a good pick up game. Gonna have to wait since they prioritize court A over B so you'll have guys waiting just for a chance to get a game in. If you don't mind waiting definitely check it out, always busy. Surrounding fields offer baseball, walking trails and a playground for the kids.
Always a great place to walk, bike or relax. They have a basketball court, skate park and more. It’s a great starting point for the BWI trail as well
We rented the pavilion for a Saturday party. We learned when we surveyed the park on Friday and were able to call the park service that while they list a capacity of 75 that does not mean they provide seating for 75. There were four picnic tables available in the pavilion. If we wanted normal tables without benches for serving food or enough seats for 75 people to sit we needed to bring tables and chairs. We also learned that they do not provide a grilling surface so we needed to bring our own grill in order to cook food. When we arrived on Saturday we found that the trash from the previous evening's party had not been disposed of so we had two very large bags of trash left in the pavilion that we just had to keep during our party. Additionally, the restrooms at the concession stand were closed on Saturday so the only restroom facilities were two very poorly maintained and quite frankly disgusting an unsanitary portable toilets. Aside from the problems with the facilities available for a large scale party The park itself is a rather nice park with trails for walking, playground equipment for children, plenty of flat space to play games such as ladder ball or cornhole, tennis courts, basketball courts, and many other amenities to provide activities for participants. The major drawback in my mind is the fact that there was no one available to remove trash from the previous parties, no restrooms available for a large party, not enough seating for a large party, nor a location to cook or serve food for a large party, yet the facility is listed as having a capacity for a party of 75 people. Restrooms: The restrooms were simply closed during the time of our reservation. Throughout the time we probably had about a hundred people that showed up at various times never more than the rated quantity at one time and not having a restroom facility available was rather disappointing.
Nice clean park..walking /bike trail. Ball fields and playground.
Small parking lot, mostly clean grounds. Tennis, basketball, baseball, soccer fields/courts. Walking concrete trail, kids play found, concession stand/bathrooms open when games are in session. Large skate park with ramps, jumps etc. Pavilion for bday parties. A creek runs through the woods. Very quiet and peaceful for winter and back to very busy spring through fall. If in the woods or on path be vigilant for ticks... Last few years they have been very bad there, and I find them on me after every visit, so just be mindful to check.. they are super tiny, but pack a punch. Playground: Brand new... It's got climbing equipment, swings, bars, and the soft rubber chips cover the ground. Restrooms: Restrooma are usually closed and locked. They open them when the kids have softball games etc.. they are attached to the concession stand which is also only open during games or special events. Dog-friendliness: Dogs an a leash are good. Plenty of places to walk them. No dig part section, and please bring bags to clean up any mess the dogs make. Trash cans in several places. Picnic area: Nice wooden pavillion with several picknick tables under it. Right beside the tennis courts and off the bike path.
