SCFD9, Station 98

About

Engine Co. 98 is very active in the Spokane community. We've provided a way to stay up to date with us and get involved yourself.

Description

Station 98 is nestled in the small community of Morgan Acres just north of Francis Ave and west of N. Market St. The station is an all volunteer station and houses a structure engine, 2 brush trucks and a 3,000 gallon water tender. Station 98 used to be the hub for Spokane County Fire District 6 before being absorbed into Spokane County Fire District 9.

Currently the station is lead by Captain Randy Meck, Lieutenant John McDonald, and Lieutenant Mike Miner. Call volume varies but our numbers put us as the busiest volunteer house and busier than 2 career staffed stations.
