The folks at Schaefer-Shipman were wonderful to work with after the unexpected death of my dad. They were kind and caring while we made arrangements and planned the service. My dad's Celebration of Life was even better than I expected. We chose to have food catered for after the service which was also very good. There is a nice place to gather afterwards to eat. Beginning to end-a good experience.
Schafer provided a beautiful service. We couldn’t have asked for more! Everything was outstanding from the service to the catering. The people were so compassionate and caring. Prices were very reasonable.
Thank you Schaeffer-Shipman it's not the first time you've helped our family but this time it was for my mom and you guys did an amazing job like always. If your looking, I'm sorry for what you're going through, they are great here. They are so nice and helpful. And the lasagna they gave my family was delicious and very thoughtful.
The staff at Schaefer-Shipman on Marysville were professional, calm and so helpful in the most difficult time of my life. Everything went smoothly and I appreciate the care they showed for my son. I would recommend them highly.

Allen & his staff was very patient & understanding with our very large & extended family. Everything was spelled out clearly, so no hidden surprises, fees or expenses. The facility was beautifully maintained & decorated and the staff was very respectful. Our family was able to do a very large, somewhat elaborate & bit unorganized funeral services for our mother with only a week notice. And somehow her 2 days of services still went off beautifully & did our family proud. Allen's calm & professional demeanor was very reassuring & welcoming as he walked me thru what I needed to do & the decisions I needed to make. He definitely made a heartbreaking situation a little less devastating & confusing for me, esp since this was the first time I ever had to make funeral arrangements. Thank you so much to Allen Ice & staff at Marysville Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home for helping our family honor our mother with a beautiful island ceremony.
Allen and the entire staff at Schaefer-Shipman were very caring, helpful, and available throughout the entire process. They made a difficult time a lot less stressful. The service was beautiful and special. I would recommend Schaefer-Shipman to anyone needing this type of service.
Rebekah was absolutely fantastic. I lost both my mother and grandmother within two weeks of each other and Rebekah made the process so easy. She cares about her clients and their families so deeply. The services were quick and fair on the budget. In the most difficult times a family could endure, Schaefer-Shipman and Dignity Memorial were the right choice.
