What great customer service we got when we called for reservations!! Very friendly!! What a hidden little gem! This campground was beyond our expectations! It is very clean, neat and tidy!! It is super quiet and just all around a great place to have a quiet experience or if you desire to participate in the planned activities and you wont be disappointed!! We will for sure return!!!
Very awesome people, beautiful campground, very peaceful!! Soo happy we stopped for the night here!!Rooms: 5/5
Stayed here for the whole summer while working in the area and it was AMAZING. great family atmosphere, CLEAN,quiet, and a never ending list of things to keep the kids busy without ever having to leave the park ! Great pool as well ! If your looking for a campground this summer I HIGHLY recommend this place Playground: Excellent playground right in the center of the campground. Restrooms: Very clean restroom and showers Dog-friendliness: Completely dog friendly park with trails to walk them on as well. Just clean up after them. Picnic area: The two fishing ponds and wooded trails offer endless options for picnic spots
Very polite employees however very unclear with pricing. We were told 1 price over the phone and paid another upon arrival. I paid more here than I have ever paid for 2 nights at a campground. The website says you can have up to 10 people per site. Nope you can only have 6 people or less. I have 5 Children we are a 7 person family. I had to purchase 2 campsites. If you pay for an electric site hope you have a camper otherwise you need to purchase an adapter to use the electric that you already paid for. The only thing the Campground really had going for it was the pool. It was nice, well kept and clean but because of Covid you can't even bring your own pool toys in. The pool doesn't make up for all the other unpleasant encounters. Save your money go somewhere else. My family and friends won't be returning.
My family and I had a wonderful experience. We would recommend it to anyone and plan on going again. We had rented a primitive campsite and we loved the beautiful creek right by our site and they had nature trails right next to us. There was two fully stocked ponds that were close to our site..no long walks. A nice pool , fenced in play area. Clean bathrooms and showers were clean and were no additional cost. Laundry site on area. The seasonal campers were very friendly as well were the staff. It is also very affordable as well , which was very nice. We just loved it . Plan on going again.
We stayed at one of the primative camp sites. It was quiet and peaceful! We were able to walk through the woods to the Kipton Reservation trail and had a wonderful 2-3 mile hike through the woods. Unfortunately, there were was not much change in elevation, or lookouts, or waterfalls. Even the water level of the river/stream running next to the campsite was very low so the water was mostly still and didn't seam to have much around it. Also, there was no grate over the firepit.
Beautiful family oriented campground absolutely awesome for the family The only complaint I could come up with is with every campground in America why don’t people go down to their fog lights instead of their high intensity driving lights when entering and leaving their campsite campground etc. even the golf carts seem to be high intensity driving lights but that’s with every campground in America
Love this place! Not too big, which I like. It is very eventful on most weekends, but quiet throughout the week. They have activities for the kids, adults and family as a whole. Made some of the Best memories while staying here. Moved in with the love of my life here and will Always cherish every moment.
Accommodated us on a busy holiday weekend with just a few days’ notice. Spots are very close together, but people are friendly. Quiet time must be enforced because our neighbors shushed each other at 10. Good place off the beaten path yet close to flea markets and Cleveland.
Horrible. Ended up leaving early, and of course no refunds. There's really nothing there to do. Playground is ok. Pool is small and dirty. Fishing spots: One was small and drying out, the other was green. It looked like someone dropped green paint in it. There's no quiet time out there. Was up most of the night listening to someones children scream at the top of their lungs at the play ground. People kept driving their golf carts down into the little valley our site was in. And they weren't quiet about it either, drunk and loud. Showers were crap. When one is on, the rest of them were cold. So you better hope you're the first one in there. Went to buy worms before we tried the tiny little pond, and paid $2.50 for dead, dried worms! But ya know, no refunds. Worse place to camp ever!!!!!
