Offering programs and courses in Body-Mind Centering® for over forty years.
Body-Mind Centering® (BMC®) is an experiential approach to movement re-education and hands-on repatterning developed by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. Using movement, touch, voice and mind, BMC® is an exploration of the personal embodiment of our cells, our body systems and our developmental patterns. It has an almost unlimited number of areas of application and is currently being used by people in movement, dance, yoga, bodywork, physical and occupational therapy, psychotherapy, child development, education, voice, music, art, meditation, athletics and other body-mind disciplines.
Since 1973, the School for Body-Mind Centering® has been dedicated to sharing this dynamic approach to embodiment studies with the world. There are graduates in 32 countries and on five continents. Programs and immersion series are now offered by licensed training organizations in Europe, North America, and South America. Graduates of programs receive a certificate from the School for Body-Mind Centering®.
Body-Mind Centering® programs, immersion series, and courses present detailed and specific approaches to the personal embodiment of our cells, our body systems, and our developmental patterns. The principles and techniques learned can be used for personal growth, for professional enhancement, or to begin a career in the field of somatic movement and/or infant developmental movement education and therapy.
Programs and Immersion Series are offered through authorized training organizations. Many courses can be taken without commitment to an entire program or series. You can find more information at www.bodymindcenterin.com
