I’m so grateful to have found Scott Ellard Dentistry Solutions! From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, I had a great feeling about this place. In additional to the great communication from the front desk staff, Dr. Ellard and his team are some of the friendliest and most compassionate healthcare professionals I’ve received care from. Not only do I know I’m in great hands, but all treatment purposes are thoroughly explained. Can’t say enough positive things about my experience with them!
I had a great experience getting established at this practice and having my first cleaning done. Everybody on staff is unbelievably kind and give the impression that they are happy to be here. I especially appreciated that my hygienist explained everything going on with my teeth very thoroughly and made sure that I understood the treatment options available to me, and how I could benefit from them. We all know dental procedures can be very costly but I never felt pressured into anything and I left feeling confident about the appearance and health of my teeth. I'm honestly looking forward to coming back for my next cleaning!
First time visit to this office. The staff was attentive and caring. I felt at home for the first time ever at a dentist office . Hats off to Scott Ellard and his empathetic staff. Very glad I chose them.
I have been to lots of dentists but am so glad I started coming to Dr. Scott Ellard. My stress level has dropped immensely since starting with Dr. Ellard. The staff is very friendly and thorough and Dr. Ellard is extremely good at the work he's done on my teeth at a reasonable price. I feel so much better about my teeth and Dr. Ellard's office deserves the credit.
The care you will receive from Scott Ellard dentistry is definitely a cut above any other dentist I've ever been to in my life. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. It's like having a personal trainer for your mouth! Even though we moved an hour and a half away, my husband and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have been going to Scott Ellard Dentistry for 9 years now, and have always had a positive experience. My dental hygienist Bianca understands where I'm at with dental care and has treated me with respect, as well as taken the time to get to know me so that I feel like I'm visiting a friend. Going to the dentist for even routine cleanings was something I avoided for years on end, and I now go 3-4 times each year. I've always been very impressed with the professionalism shown by everyone in the office, as well as the friendliness. I will keep using Scott Ellard Dentistry for as long as I live in the Portage area!
Capable, competent and very friendly staff. Dentist barely looked in my mouth, relied on the hygienist to do his assessment and answer my medical questions. Underwhelming to say the least.
**UPDATE 2/15** had the second part of my root canal finished yesterday, five shots later i could still feel what was happening and i made that very clear. i was originally told it would be 3 appointments. one for root canal, one for impressions, and one for the actual crown. now it has turned into five and i am highly considering going elsewhere to finish the procedure. i’m now being told they will NOT do impressions for a crown unless i get a full exam and cleaning first i’ve never heard of this before and then maybe they will consider putting a crown on. they just keep taking out and reinserting the temporary filling which might i add is majorly uncomfortable. this office is incredibly unpredictable and gives me a great deal of anxiety. **UPDATE 02/07**- called with some concerns as to why i was having so much pain, where i was informed my root canal was not finished and will need 3 more appointments. i was told my root canal was finished and it needed to be crowned, now im being told my root canal was half finished and have several more weeks of dental work to endure. i mentioned i was not made aware of that and the lady on the phone said “well you were under sedation so maybe you didn’t understand.” …… poor communication.. not sure why i wasn’t informed but i’m definitely having severe anxiety about my upcoming appointment. Let me start by saying i have severe dental anxiety due to several traumatic experiences when i was younger. It was no surprise i needed my first root canal, unfortunately. Lauren, Bianca, and Dr. Ellard took excellent care during my procedure and it was done before i knew it. I personally have a difficult time getting numb but Dr. Ellard went above and beyond and actually believed me when i said i was having pain and could feel things so he just kept numbing me until i was better. This is the first dentist’s office i’ve ever had a good experience with and i cannot thank them enough!
Scott Ellard Dentistry is a beautiful facility with even nicer staff. The front desk staff are cheerful, welcoming and accommodating. Dr. Ellard always makes an attempt to catch up on your personal life, is professional and so kind! The hygienist are amazing and very thorough. I highly recommend Scott Ellard Dentistry.
Ellard dentistry is a very family oriented, friendly business. I have been extremely happy with Dr Ellard and staff for over 20 years. My teeth were in terrible condition prior to starting with Dr Ellard but now with the work completed and planned I’ll have my teeth and be able to eat corn on the cob for at least another 30 years. I recommend Ellard Dentistry to everyone that is looking for a dentist.
