This was a nice paved trail I saw lots of people on bikes and roller blades. Plenty of space on the trail to share the path. Lots of trees down which made it even more beautiful Picnic area: There was lots of places to stop and sit on the bench or on the ground to have a picnic
Easy paved trails. In the fall, there are lots of interesting mushrooms near the forest grounds to be found.
Scott woods is a great place to walk, bike and be outside. I bring my kids here and we wander around, climb trees, enjoy the fresh air and sunshine and have a good time. It's quiet and beautiful and you can see deer and geese and ducks. Because it's part of the river trail you can get a nice long walk in without getting your feet wet and muddy if you want, or you can go off the trail and explore. We love it here.
Amazing park. It a great place to experience outdoors. There is a creek, pond, canal, bridge, and plenty of nature to enjoy. People can go for bike rides and hike through the natural trails through the forest.
Awesome Park. Splash pad, beach area, dog park, paddle boat rentals, and tube rentals for sledding in the winter. The sledding hill has a conveyor belt that takes u up the hill and they make their own snow Restrooms: Full restrooms with showers Dog-friendliness: Dog park located within the park
I love this little forgotten about park! It's a great back entrance to Hawlk island, the river trail, and the dog park. This park has playground equipment, basketball courts and a gazebo! Limited parking but a great place to be!
This park is a family hit, with trails to hawk island and a quiet little playground and parking lot. Thru the woods not only is pretty and full of nature but the walking path is great for families. The downside is some people ride their bikes to fast so stay walking on the right hand side and watch the small children.
Definitely one of the best sections of the Lansing River Trail. The Sycamore Creek runs through here and there are many opportunities to see wildlife, including deer, beavers, bald eagles, hawks, and many other birds.
Good hiking trail but be careful with your younger children. I have had many encounters with wildlife here.
Nice place to walk or bike. Trails lead into hawk island as well if you want a longer walk. Small parking lot, small pavillion and a playground at the entrance to the trails.
