A brand new and exciting pediatric dental practice in Bluffton! We specialize in dentistry for infants, children, teens and all children with special health care needs. The office will be open on select Saturdays and times convenient for after school appointments. Dr. Shane Harpham completed 4 years of dental school at West Virginia University and completed 2 additional years of Pediatric training as the Chief Resident at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. We were so pleased with our experience at Sea Smiles! The office is beautiful and immaculate and so kid centered! We were greeted by a very friendly staff of hygienist and Dr. Shane. I am an extremely anxious mom who came to this office from another pediatric dentist I was not very pleased with. With that being said, I knew coming in my daughter had to have a few fillings, and a potential pulpotomy and crown and came to Sea Smiles because they offer other options than the traditional silver metal crowns most pediatric dentist still use. Dr. Shane put me at ease immediately, after looking at the x-rays we came up with a very efficient plan that would make this the easiest on my daughter. She did end up needing a crown and he was able to use a white zirconia crown that blends in so naturally with her teeth! Dr. Shane and the hygienist were so wonderful, encouraging and gentle with my little one during the procedure. They even both sang her some of the songs from Frozen while it was playing to put her more at ease. I couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend Sea Smiles!
Dr. Shane is the best! He's kind patient and truly cares about his patients. His office is clean, welcoming and decorated nicely with the cutest theme. My kids love coming to the dentist!

Dr. Shane and his staff are not only wonderful but very patient. My daughter has TERRIBLE dental anxiety and had to have IV sedation for fillings. The whole process was extremely organized and they put my nerves at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Shane! Thank you guys so much.
My kids love coming to the dentist because of the amazing staff at Sea Smiles. Definitely a kid friendly environment. After 3 1/2 years we have never left the office dissatisfied. They let my kids ask questions and show extreme patience when they are not exactly cooperating with what needs to be done. They do not force procedures or scare parents into anything unnecessary. They are extremely knowledgeable and ensure that parents stay well informed.
Dr.Shane and his team are amazing; they are punctual, polite, respectful and very good at working with children. Our kids go there always with pleasure. Highly recommend!!! The part my kids enjoy the most is the prize chest and the amazing staff!Arthemis & Ryan
Our first visit was a wonderful experience! We just moved to the area and had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at how adorable the office and the staff was. So happy to have found this gem for our children! Highly recommend!
Dr. Shane is the real deal! We tried the other guys by Station 300 … Adventures In Dentistry and let me say that was an Adventure alright!!! After getting a better set of X-rays from a state of the art Facility we were properly guided in the right direction as to what was best for our 8 year old Son!! When they say get a second opinion I truly understand why now! Dr Shane is hands down the absolute best Pediatrics Dentist in the area!! If you’re planning to go there you’ll definitely be glad you did! My Son felt absolutely no pain whatsoever and was smiling after he left the Dentist office!!! That’s incredible!! We are truly blessed to have come across Dr Shane and not only does he have Extensive experience and knowledge in his field but he is a very empathetic involved doctor!! Never have I seen such care and concern from a doctor in all my years of going myself! He is a natural with kids being a father himself and actually personalized every aspect of the visit to make us even more assured and comfortable!!! He fixed my Sons teeth who was in extreme pain having never been there the very next day after calling… I can’t say the same about the other guys!! We’ve changed Dentist and so so glad we did!!!!! I’ve been bringing my boys to Sea Smiles for a few years. When I reminded them this morning that they had an appointment, all three cheered because they were excited. My husband said it must be an incredible dentist for them to be happy to go. And it’s the truth! Fast, friendly, efficient. Beautiful and clean office. And they make it fun for the kids!
First dentist visit with twins and the staff and setup was great. They took the time to explain to my kids each step, let them pick out toothpaste flavors, and were very friendly. Setup was kid friendly with a pirate ship play area in the waiting room and TVs on the ceiling over the exam tables. I also liked how the exam tables were communal, so both kids could get their cleaning done at the same time without being separated from me or each other.
