I went in today to purchase a washer and dryer. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helped me through the whole process. Was very patient with me and answered my questions. I get my washer and dryer delivered next week, which is the only downfall. I prefer smaller, local businesses to shop at and this one beats expectations. Moore family, you have a great bunch working for and with you.
Purchased a frige at Home Depot after waiting 30 days they couldn't deliver it to us...?....went to Sears...had to wait again of course - they did everything right and we got a better Frige for the money, delivery was prefect and they didn't make a mark on my high end wood floor! Thank you Sears!

My wife and I need a washer. The sells men here was very rude, didn't pay attention to our needs or what my wife wanted out of a washer. He tried bullying tactics including interrupting and yelling at us from across the store. We did not buy a washer nor will we from this store.
The people at the store are great! The only issue I had was I ordered online and it wasn't clear to me that I was going to have to assemble my lawn mower when it arrived. It's all good got it done and mowing the lawn!
Due to what I felt as a very bad customer service experience I was ready to return appliances I had purchased. Store owner Kevin Moore understood my frustration. He worked with me and turned the situation into the best customer service I have received in the 12 years living in Montrose.
What great service I received from the guys at the Montrose Sears. I had made a $1000 online purchase through sears.com which I tried to cancel for three weeks straight with no luck... But after calling the Montrose store out of desperation, didn't expect much due to the fact that I didn't make the purchase through them or their store Steve located my lost order, got it canceled, my account was refunded, and what took me 3 weeks, he had taken care of in less than an hour! That's how business should be done! Thanks guys!

Highly recommend this store...staff is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and they treat you with dignity and respect. Exceeded our expectations in every way! We will always use this store and refer our friends and family to check them out also. Forget the "Big Box" stores, Sears Hometown in Montrose is the place to shop!
Great store. I recently purchased a double oven and microwave, and they are awesome. They were installed flawlessly, and really improved the look of our kitchen. GE slate is an awesome color.
