Furniture arrived damaged. Settled for $100 credit. Still waiting for the credit, it’s been a month. Bottom fabric torn and piece of wood loose. Delivery guys were great.
Great selection of items in stock. Fantastic customer service! Mike was so helpful. He helped us find the perfect freezer for our needs right before the store closed. He took the time to help us and didn't make us feel rushed. We will definitely be back for a new couch soon. I highly recommend this store. Thank you for the friendly personable service.
Robyn is a nice, helpful, knowledgeable person. We bought a Kitchen table set and a couch and love seat. We took the table set home which is very nice however the last chair had 2 front right legs. I though we may be able to come back the next day and pick up the couch and love seat. Well, the person who loads was sick so was told we couldn’t pick up until noon, or we could try to load ourselves. Couch was in a big box too big too handle so I decided to pay the extra delivery charge. they made good on the chair, had me take a floor model chair and said I could bring back wrong chair parts.i came back a very short time later with chair parts and decided to sit on the couch one more time before they deliver in a week, guess they’re busy. So anyway the couch back popped off just sitting and made me second guess the quality of the product...uncomfortable with the floor model in a low traffic store, falling apart, I canceled the order. After about a half hour of processing, or something, Robyn tried to refund the charge. My card was declined 2 times for the credit and she mentioned must be blocked to prevent fraud. I got home called the card company and informed there had been no attempt to credit my card. I went back to store, a little angry and Robyn than told me the block was on their end and I may be s**t out of luck for furniture that never left their store, she didn’t curse though, or there may be a restocking charge, again for something that never come out of their stock or possession. I get they don’t want used furniture back you would have to deal with the manufacture, but to be a big deal corporate has to authorize and could take a couple weeks for what amounted to like 4 business hours of time on items never left their possession blows my mind. Horrible business...I hope this matter is corrected without imposed penalties or complete loss. I feel like I should be calling the police for theft or credit card company for fraud, hopefully they will do the right thing...needless to say I left the store fuming as there was no point in giving Robyn a hard time on policy’s she don’t agree with and had no control over. I’ll adjust my review once resolved, as the table and chairs purchase seems to be of nice quality spoke to Rod and he was very nice, I have adjusted review to reflect the service received and wi feel comfortable shopping there.
Wonderful staff. Our intent on stopping in was to check out the washers and dryers. We had a specific model in mind that they didn't have at the time, however, there was a furniture closeout sale that was amazing. We purchased a couch for our daughter. After purchasing it, I had to call to let them know that we would arrive later than anticipated to pick it up and they were extremely courteous and accommodating. The staff was very helpful in getting the couch loaded onto the trailer. The new store manager, Rod, seems to be making some great improvements!
Wow, we just got a great deal on 2 couches. The couches we purchased were all wrapped up and when we got home and unwrapped them, we noticed a minor issue. We called back and they corrected the issue immediately - thanks Michael! Great prices, great customer service, and we love our couches! We will be back!
Love LOVE this store! the product is quality and reasonably priced , the staff is just awesome, down to the delivery guys . Every employee i've encountered on my numerous trips here have been so nice and helpful. They really know how to build rapport with their clients, which seems to be lost in most businesses these days . I've managed to revamp my home within my budget ! i would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking to redesign their home . Out with the old and in with the new!
Today I signed up for the lease it program. Robyn was wonderful. She helped me find a new washer, signed me up with the program with no problems. And she gave me a great price on the washer. Couldnt of had a better experience!! If I need a new appliance in the future I definitely will not hesitate on coming back to see Robyn.
First and foremost, I was very excited to see that this American Freight had the gas dryer I was looking for. On their website, they offer the option for connection hookup, but that’s not true at all. I received a call from the store rep stating that they don’t offer gas connection hookup and that they would refund me the money I paid for gas connection. It’s now 60 days later, I received no refund and the store rep is acting like I received a deal because they delivered the gas dryer to my house and brought in my garage..lol. Please be very careful not to select the option for connection hookup because you will lose your money. If they don’t offer connection hookup then that option should be removed from their website.
This store can’t be beat! The prices for closeout and new appliances are the best anywhere and the customer service at the Newton location is outstanding! I’ve been there twice now and everyone is super helpful and friendly. A special shout-out to Ilona who went above the call of duty to give me specifics on a pictured item to make sure the 1.5 hour trip would be worth my while it was!
Robyn is wonderful. I have made several purchases and I always see Robyn. I have purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator. She is very knowledgeable of the products she sells and she takes her time and doesn’t rush with it. Always a great experience!! Very customer focused.
