We visited Hendersonville for our anniversary and chose Seasons as our dinner meal. We chose this restaurant thinking it was upscale fine dining based upon our google search and research of the area’s options. Upon arrival at our reservation time which was also closing time evidently we were seated beside some very loud guests. We asked to be moved and the wait staff immediately obliged giving us several other seating options. We ordered within minutes of seating and our food came out very quickly. We have dined in several fine dining restaurants and this did not compare to most as far as the atmosphere and food quality goes and is definitely overpriced when taking these things into consideration. Overall the service was great and the best part of the meal is dessert! Next time in town we will stop in for dessert and coffee.
Upscale but comfortably classic dining experience. Perfect for a memorable meal with good friends. Well executed and unique dishes such as Cornish game hen and dry aged pork chops. Wonderful desserts and distinctive salads as well.Food: 5/5
Great food. Superb service. Music was great. We had the bread service. The tomato onion focaccia was my favorite. My husband wanted the roasted seasonal mushrooms as an appetizer. I normally don't eat or like mushrooms. I ate half of them. Never tasted anything like it. For the entrée, we both had the prime ribeye. I can honestly say I've never at something so good and fresh tasting. For dessert we had the tiramisu. Wonderful.... it was great. Our server was Collette. She was very nice. The whole atmosphere was so relaxing.
I've been here twice over just the past few days. Friday for lunch and Sunday for the brunch buffet. Both were excellent!!! I absolutely loved the lunch which was one of the very best meals I have ever had at any restaurant anywhere. I had the house salad with Buttermilk dill dressing which was excellent, the Beouf Bourguignon which was Incredible, and margaritas which were great. The dessert was great as well. The atmosphere and the window seat view were awesome. The service was extraordinary. The brunch buffet was also excellent. All of the food was very good and there were lots of great selections. The Bloody Mary was delicious as well. The staff were extremely friendly. This place is Awesome. I will be back for sure. I highly recommend. Also, the location at Highland Lake is simply beautiful as well as quite historical.
Great meal. Old school ambiance but kind of a dishevelled waitress. Chef was good and most pairings spot on. I had pork chop and it was done perfect and the brussel sprouts had the perfect sweet balance. My wife had grilled quail with mushroom ravioli. Ravioli were good but sour cream sauce was not the best match. Overall a great experience and I would recommend for a nice meal and quiet location.
We've been coming to this area for years and this was our first time coming to the Seasons. We didn't even know it was here! What a gem! Food was AMAZING!! Every bite was perfect! I think I said WOW with every bite! For a fine dining restaurant the portions are huge! I left stuffed and could barely share the creme brulee at the end of our evening!!
Brunch was absolutely delicious! We had reservations for 1pm but arrived early and the host who was very sweet to seat us before our reserved time was greatly appreciated! The garden view we had was just perfect for our Family Brunch! And the most beautiful bonus was hearing Bruce Lang sing! We even bought one of his collections! Thank you, We will be back!
I was pleasantly surprised at the well executed and refined fare at Season's. Flavors were well thought out and balanced, and everything was cooked perfectly. The duck leg is as good as any bistro I've ever been in, and the creme brulee was a luxurious treat. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was an inspired take with fried capers and a Bloody Mary based cocktail sauce dressing plump Argentinian red shrimp. Onsite restaurants can be hit or miss, but this one definitely hit.
This is an awesome restaurant! It is very charming but not stuffy or old fashioned. It's a great destination restaurant. They do except reservation which makes planning a night out on the weekend easier. The food is fresh and tasty with modern twists. The cook is phenomenal! Service is fast and friendly without being overbearing. They offer a nice selection of wines and a full bar. We had the trout and the steak. Both were excellent. We had creme brulee and a key lime tart for dessert - again both excellent. We will definitely be back to this wonderful restaurant.
Holy smokes. Just wow. When we arrived, it's a very pretty setting, but I wasn't wowed by the dining decor. I think somebody could do something with that. But, who cares really, because the food more than made up for ambiance. Sensational! I have not had food that well-prepared since a 5-star restaurant in Chicago. The sautéed mushroom appetizer was to die for. Not 5 little mushrooms on a plate; a large bowl full of mushrooms in a delicious sauce avec 2 large pieces of grilled sourdough. Our entree was the trout. Once again, superb! I've never had filleted trout with such expertly chosen garnishings. Outstanding. Great portions also. Dessert was first rate. I WILL be back.
