I am impressed with the Emergency Room diagnostic skill. I am not easily impressed. They were able to diagnose something that I'm afraid other top hospitals have missed. Wondering if they have a better, more thorough lab or something. I thought I was going to the best in the world. The physician in the ER seemed to know exactly what she was dealing with. I thought about the questions she asked more when I got home and realized I answered some too quick in pain, wanted to be efficient to get help quickly. I think she was definitely on the right track. MUCH APPRECIATED!
I have never went to a appointment that went so quick and smooth. They had me in and out within 20 min. I had a mammogram and a lung x-ray both in them 20 min. The staff was very kind and gentle and understanding. I honestly look forward to having another appointment with CHI and there wonderful staff. Sincerely Janell Pehanich
Took my sister here tonight for some excruciating pain she was having. The first nurse was very nice, had great communication skills and was making sure that she made my sister feel comfortable. The second nurse came in and asked a bunch of questions and got everything she needed for the doctor to see her and then said the doctor would be in in a few minutes. She pressed her call light to see how long the wait would be and they just hung up on her. We've been here now for over an hour with no doctor, no nurse and no updates.
I’m not happy with the service my mother is receiving from this hospital. I’m usually not the one to leave reviews, however I must say something. We have been waiting to see a doctor for over 3 hours -watching people come in after we have been waiting- mind you my mother is having serious issues. However, they are professional and doing a wonderful job with my mother. Taxpayer- Retired
This hospital is a joke. I set up an appointment months ago and let me be clear MONTHS ago to have a sugary completed the middle of January because my insurance ended February first. I informed my doctor fully on the fact that this was concerning an elective sugary and was assured it wouldn’t be a problem. I finally reached back out as they refused to look into the matter until after the first of the year as far as insurance went and was called and informed that due to the hospitals religious beliefs that I wouldn’t be allowed to have the sugary at all! Due to this I can now not have the sugary done at all because of the time line I have been left with! I will never use or support a chi hospital again!
The Er rep Jenae made me feel welcomed, she was so nice and sincere about my foot. The bathrooms were a long way and she took a wheelchair and brought me there without any hesitation as if she was pleased to do it. There needs to be more staff like this the er was also so busy and Jenae was able to find us a ortho urgent care that could take us in. Please give this woman a raise!
The employees were very pleasant and helpful. They took into account that I had 2 appointments back to back, and made sure I got to my second appointment on time.
My recent Colonoscopy experience with Dr. Hale and her team of health care professionals was excellent. Everyone with whom I interacted was compassionate, patient, informative and thorough in their individual responsibilities.
I came In To the ER at 11:00 pm Thursday night due to excruciating pain I know what it is they know, they wanted to admit me but said no beds were available and they would get me into a room asap it’s now 11:30 am on Friday and I’m still in the ER room I haven’t been offered food or drink I did ask for water and got some but this is dehumanizing, the least they could do is transfer me I will no longer be coming to mercy for this treatment
I am not fond of the way some of the staff at McDermott speak to the adolescents. It is not ok to tell a young child that they act like they are a 5 year old and that is why they are there. When i spoke with the doctor on duty he said he didn’t know my child’s case and he wouldn’t even look up from his papers to talk to me. I felt like he thought I was bothering him.
