Wife had an mri done and they forced her to pay up front even though our insurance deductible had been met. Called back to find out why and was transferred Six times and disconnected twice. Finally got a call back from a supervisor who was told that was procedure. When asked why we weren’t given advanced notice of it was told the scheduling dept and the dept where she had the mri at don’t communicate with each other. Asked for refund due to insurance situation and told that would have to be approved by hospital administrator
People die there a lot they're underqualified and understaffed do not take your loved ones there they left my mom's oxygen unplugged in the first place that was my first complaint and the second one they intubated Knowing that's not what we wanted and within seconds my mom was gone She flatlined she was gone that same nurse . I won't forget her face not even I'm a sorry for your last nothing there terrible terrible terrible yeah I see you the one nurse horrible doctor horrible
Was denied my hip surgery by Janine foust and 4th floor director just because of comment I made on their web site. Have had several bad experiences at this hospital. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone
Had my third and final baby at Jennie back in January. My little one needed extra care immediately after my C-section and the staff did an amazing job with her and I.cannot say enough good things about my experience with Jennie, as they were always so caring and compassionate. Also, if you are a nursing mother I highly recommend the breastfeeding groups on Wednesdays - you can do weighted feeds and have great conversation! I also think the food is rather delicious for being hospital food. Thank you again for making my last pregnancy/baby experience a great one! I'm a little sad to say it's my last baby, but I will always cherish the memories of brining our babies into the world at Jennie.
I had a bad bicycle accident recently and ended up fracturing a bone in my elbow. The ER staff from check in through treatment and discharge provided a level of care that far exceeded my expectations. The wait time was minimal, and the nurses, x-ray technicians, and PA were super friendly, attentive, and fantastic at communicating information about my injury and the necessary post-ER care steps. While I hope to not need the ER anytime soon, I would not hesitate to come back here if needed. The folks who work at the Jennie Edmundson ER are some of the best, most compassionate hospital staff in the Omaha area.
I have never been more comfortable than I have with the Jennie Ed ER. I’m so grateful to have the crew I just had. They were so patient, caring and comforting. I have serious anxiety and panic so they took me serious and didn’t just give me drugs. They did the work to make sure nothing was wrong. Thank you, thank you - you have no idea how this made me feel and your kindness is unmatched at any ER I’ve ever been too!
I was skeptical of choosing this hospital due to the bad reviews. I was wrong I'm glad I did. From checking in the staff was nice. I didn't have to wait to get my kid seen. The nurses were awesome. After my sons surgery. The nurses on 1st floor were great took care of us fine. Not to mention 2nd floor nurses. The same thing very nice and caring. Nurse Colleen was assigned to my kid. And was very caring nice to us. Made us feel like at home. Always checking in on my son and I if we needed anything. My kid liked all the nurses. Because of how well they made him feel. I definitely recommend this hospital. Don't regret making the choice. Can't thank the doctor and nurses enough.
I am from Kearney Ne and my husband and I and some of our friends came down to celebrate my birthday. I ended up having to go to the emergency room due to gallbladder issues. I was very impressed with the staff. They were so kind to me and very professional. It was a very positive experience
Sitting in hospital with admitted family member who had an undiagnosed episode. Dr requested a "Stat" CT scan and MRI. The department that controls both of those test has decided "stat" means whenever they decide is okay not when it which is at ened of they day. I will be making several phone calls today and frustrating many people...
EVERYONE wants to help give you the best experience possible. Quick and painless blood draw, understanding when it is the first time for a test. Very knowledgeable doctors.
