Take my family here often...weather depending! Idk if they have a grounds keeper, but there are tons of wasp/bees in the gazebo across the bridge!! And there were several large branches and other debris all over the park. None the less we enjoyed our time Playground: Sould use some up dating and replacement Restrooms: Didnt see any Picnic area: Tables with cover
The Kilburn family loves this park. It's one of our favorites. We spend hrs there on nice days. There's a workout area too Playground: Playground is all getting picked up after and maintained well Restrooms: Their cleanish for public restrooms Dog-friendliness: Seen all sorts of different dogs from ankle biter to giants, lol Picnic area: Always kept up on. Nice shade with some grills
Clean little park, easy access from main road. Shady areas, great place to relax while you are in town Dog-friendliness: Great place to run with your fur friend.
I recently realized Selmer Park has an amazing area for Adults to work out, A great variety of exercise equipment!! I knew it was a great park before and now I believe it has to be the best around West TN, That I have been to!! Really amazing job to the awesome folks who had a hand in designing & constructing it!!! Playground: A great variety of fun things for kids to do, Smaller equipment so Toddlers can play as well as plenty of things for Big Kids to play! Restrooms: They do have restrooms & to my surprise they are kept a lot cleaner than any other park I've been to. Plus they actually have the restrooms unlocked!.. I know at least during the day! Dog-friendliness: I saw people walking their dogs along the walk ways! Picnic area: I believe they were plenty of picnic areas & more than one spot to have Birthday party's ETC..
Needs to be fixed and really update bathrooms and maybe place another bathroom on other side of park. Playground: Seems kids like it, I believe it needs more and closer to parking but that's just me. Restrooms: NASTY needs another restroom on other side of park.
I haven't visited the park in several years. Its really nice and shaded, the walking track is in excellent shape and the playground equipment would make any kid happy, even the old farts like me can enjoy the swings.
Usually fairly clean and well maintained.
Awesome well maintained equipment. My 8 & 9 yearold had a blast and remember it each time we visit.
