Food is pretty good I really like their salmon tacos and their chicken crispy sandwich drinks are really good love their cocktails!!! Been here for brunch once and dinner a couple times. Service is okay, kinda lag on waiting certain tables but it does get pretty busey. I love the atmosphere, my favorite area to eat is in the back patio so chill vibes
Went here for the first time today and the food I ordered was fantastic. They have a few tables inside and bar seating, but the outdoor seating in the back is quite nice. They don’t have the largest menu, but they do wonderfully with their offerings. I definitely recommend the sliders and fish tacos. I look forward to my next visit and trying some new things.
Great place! Both indoor and outdoor seating. Classic menu items for great prices . A dinner for two with tip came out to $45! Fast service, but they were very busy and a bit understaffed. Would recommend if your in the area and need a quick bite and good food.Food: 5/5
Wow! Where have you been all of my life, Sena?! I had the carnitas tacos and she had the salmon and they were both fantastic! They have a small bar space but a mighty drink menu and it is quite ecelectic with Japanese whiskey, Mexican IPAs, Palomas, and of course, tequila. The atmosphere is simple but the food and drinks are not. We made a reservation by phone, but they seemed confused by that when we tried to check in, but no matter we got a table Friday at 5, but is soon filled up. We'll be back !
Excellent weekend brunch experience, a bit on the pricey side but food quality is great. Went with their burrito, friend went with two tacos subbed jackfruit for vegan purposes and an order of fries. They have cold beer on tap which was delicious; would like to try their happy hour 3-6pm on weekdays next!
This review is solely based on the food. Ordered a burger based on the description it sounded delicious but when it came out it had to be the blandest burger I've ever had. No salt or pepper or any seasoning on the patty. The only thing recognizable was the cheese, for $18 I expected more. Tacos were okay but expected more for the price. This is the type of restaurant for nice ambiance and drinks only, nothing else. Service was great so not putting the servers down.
Situated in Old Town Monrovia across from the theaters this little eclectic find is an awesome taco bar! Come for happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and enjoy Tacos, Nachos and other Spanish dishes at happy hour pricing. Margaritas with Tajin on the rim come Classic, Mango, Strawberry or Pomegranate. All are very refreshing. The Street Tacos are full of flavor and just the right amount of nourishment. Happy Hour menu also includes a Kobe Slider with Pepper-Jack, Queso and Chorizo. A Short-Rib Quesadilla, Ceviche Tostada or a Tempura Shrimp Taco. Are you hungry yet? How about a Mediterranean Chicken Bowl with avocado, feta cheese, cucumber, kalmata olives, brown rice, served with tahini and balsamic sauces or enjoy a Blackened Salmon Taco with sliced avocado, roasted chiles, corn salsa, slaw and crema. Enjoy the bar and music, or eat on the outside patio and people watch the foot traffic, or bigger parties can enjoy their meal on the back outside patio. Service is friendly and you are almost certain to bump into a friend. There is parking on the street if you are lucky or park in the Public Parking Lot off Lime Street in the back by the Police Station. Stroll up and down Myrtle and browse in shops. There is a hand made ice cream store two doors down for a dip of coolness before heading back to the car. Farmers Market is on Fridays from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, if you so desire before or after your visit to Sena. Sena is one of my personal favorites.
The steak tacos were delicious, but the portion size is small. Came here on a Tuesday, was disappointed that they don't offer Taco Tuesday all day, it's starts at 3pm. Margaritas were kiddie size and just average, and $10 each. $16 for two street tacos and about 5 chips. Lunch came to $65 for 4 street size tacos and 3 average margaritas.
Great happy hour and spare rib tacos to die for!!!Food: 5/5
The fish tacos were okay. More protein instead of cheese would've been nice but the fish was tasty. The drinks were also delicious. I got a pomegranate margarita that wasn't too sweet. The servers were all so attentive and friendly.Food: 4/5
