What is a Gastropub? A pub that specializes in serving high-quality food. So yeah, we have a full bar that offers craft beer, wine, cocktails, scotch & other spirits....... and we make comfort food.
A menu composed of Sicilian street food, Italian-American classics and traditional pub fare like fries, burgers and salads, offers a wide variety to please any palate (including GF and vegetarian options) and any budget, with appetizers ranging from $5- $7 and entrees $8 -$14.
We are a mom and pop operation but this isn’t your parents old school Italian restaurant on the corner with checkered table cloths and Sinatra warbling in the background. Think Miami meets New York City in the middle of Research Triangle Park: hip, modern, cool.
Our head dishwasher and owner, Giuseppe Cataldo, has been in this industry since day one. He literally grew up in his family’s restaurant in Endicott, NY (where IBM originated). He worked for some pretty great people in places like NYC until he decided to call Raleigh/Durham home. He is proud to invite you to Serena Sicilian Influenced Gastropub.
