We operate a superbly detailed ho scale layout based on Western Maryland. The club also operates the fictional Chesapeake and Allegheny railroad on the layout, but club members often run whatever they bring to the gatherings. All of the structures on the layout were built from scratch, all the track is hand-laid rail by rail, tie by tie, and the entire layout took 40 years to build. Since then, the layout has been on the cover of Model Railroader magazine 4 times.
