We specialize in providing the LGBTQ community with counseling which specifically addresses the issues LGBTQ people may face, with psychologists who are knowledgeable about the most effective treatments!
SGIC provides individual, couple, family, and group therapy to the LGBTQ Community and their families. Services are provided by doctoral students of clinical psychology from the Palo Alto University and supervised by licensed psychologists who specialize in gender and sexual identity issues.

Grounded in contemporary views of sexual and gender orientation and identity, The Sexual and Gender Identities Clinic (SGIC) offers psychological services to lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transsexual/transgendered persons and those questioning their sexual and/or gender identities. Services are also available for the families and friends of LGBTQ persons. SGIC is committed to providing excellent service and continually assessing and refining the services to maximize their effectiveness. Treatment models developed by SGIC will be shared with other clinicians in the field through professional publications and training.
