Shady Acres Campground is a quiet and enjoyable getaway from everyday life. For those looking to get back to nature Shady Acres has it all. Our sprawling grounds boast 47 sites with electric and water hook up, 22 of which also have sewer hook up. Partially wooded, you'll have your choice between sunny and shaded areas. We can accommodate campers of all sizes, from the largest RV's to the most conservative tenting enthusiasts. Seasonal sites are available.
While here you might like to check out our trout pond, or go for a short walk along the dog trail. Throughout the grounds you'll see our beautiful and colorful gardens, as well as our vegetable garden and many fruit trees.
Our campers enjoy free hot showers, an onsite laundry center, and the cleanest facilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Shady Acres Campground is only 2 miles off I95 exit 174, and only 10 miles from Bangor. In a short 10 minute drive you can visit many great landmarks such as the Paul Bunyan statue, or any number of fun destinations such as Hollywood Slots or The Discovery Museum. If you're up for a day trip, Bar Harbor is only an hour drive, and is a bit of a tourist mecca.
