Delicious and very authentic Pakistani food. We tried Lamb Brain Masala, chicken seekh Kabab, beef seekh Kabab, naan bread and loved every bit of it. Traditional Spicy food with generous portions and reasonable prices! Highly recommend it
Excellent food. I love their Meat Thali very much. Price is under budget
One of the better tasting Indian food in Bay Area. - Restaurant is very spacious - Has a mix of self service and service - Food tastes great - Complimentary bottomless Chai! - Curry quantity is fairly reasonable - Overall, good price performance ratio
Very less Indian/Pakistani food near by, so good to go once. My first experience was just after coming from India, so couldn't resist to compare with what I had back in India. Shouldn't compare but there are some improvements can be there to make it one of the landmark in this area. Surely there should be other fruits then just apple everywhere. :
Two stars are for the great Indian food. However, the chairs and tables are old and need to be changed. The decoration is horrible. seriously people, try to spend some money on the decoration and it will look like a palace. The ceiling needs to be changed, we were able to see the color is yellow, which mean there is an old leak. I will go again as soon as they start taking care about the customers more than the money.
The tandoori items are absolutely among the best in the Bay area. The Steven's Creek branch is a bigger place to accommodate lot more people. The Kabobs though are great, I feel they are slightly over priced, but nothing away from the Bay area pricing. And oh, the masala tea which is complimentary is absolutely fantastic.
Unassuming decor with simple service but great tasty food at very reasonable prices !!! Our go to dishes are Chicken Ttikka Masala, Kabas, Lamb curry, Naan, rice dishes and the Sweet Lassi. Any left-overs are always just as good, if not even better, when reheated. I think this is the best indian-pakistani restaurant in the Bay area. We have tried several. Free and good hot Masala tea demonstrates the owner's hospitality. The value and quality for money makes this one of the very best restaurants of any kind in the Bay area.
Food is good and quantity for the price is a lot. However, they are very very very slow. I have been to this place three times now, each time I ordered just one biryani to go, and they took almost 30 mins for that. If you have plenty of time, definitely a place to visit.
We went on a Tuesday night and placed an order to go an order of mutter paneer, an order of chicken tikka masala and 4 potato filled naans . There was one other person in front of us in line, so the service was fast. We were in and out fairly quick about 20 mins but the food was not up to satisfaction, especially the chicken tikka masala. It was mostly gravy with very few pieces of chicken in it but the worst part was it didn't taste like chicken tikka masala at all. It was just an ok chicken curry. Perhaps it was end of the night and they were trying to get rid of whatever they had left. The potato naans and mutter paneer was good but the chicken tikka masala or lack thereof left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning.
I used to like this place when it was at its old location. This new place has more room but the food quality and especially service have degraded significantly. The lamb chop was almost burnt and was pathetically small. It seems they had removed most of the meat from the bones to make other lamb dishes. The cashier person doesn't acknowledge you when you're in front of him to place your order. When we went to pay he stayed on the phone and just blurt out the figure. We weren't even sure if he was talking to us. We won't be going back.
