It's so great to see that Shannon Florist is still going strong. I was born in Brooklyn NY and use to work there during the Christmas holidays. My parents were very close friends with the Perottas. I only lived around the block from them in Brooklyn. Dad job transfer 1971 us to Florida and I have been here ever since. By there photos they do beautiful work. Beautiful arrangements I remember Veronica, Sam, Anthony, Joseph and Lucille. Great Italians!!! If I ever get to Brooklyn NY I would visit the florist.
Really great people with incredible flowers. Prompt delivery of exactly what I was looking for, despite having described it in only a few words. Good prices, good service. I'll never order from an online shop again. I'm staying local and they've got a customer for life now.
The David Shannon Florist & Nursery has outstanding customer service, and makes gorgeous arrangements. I had a particularly harrowing circumstance, trying to find a Florist in Brooklyn that was 1 open on a Sunday 2 capable of making a beautiful arrangement for a funeral within six hours of my call. No problem for the seasoned professionals at Shannon Florist. I was graciously helped by Jr., who prepared a classy, beautiful and dignified arrangement, and had it delivered one hour before the viewing. Price was very reasonable, being able to honor my friend - who passed suddenly - and show my support of his family in my absence was priceless! Thank you so much Shannon Florist

This is the best florist and nursery I’ve been to in all of Brooklyn. My family has been going for 15+ years and loves the huge selection of happy and healthy plants. The staff is always incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Excellent florist. Highly recommend. John handled my father's funeral order with such compassion and empathy. He honored our request and worked within our budget. The finished results were even more beautiful than we could of imagined. Thank you for making a painful experience much easier for us.
This place is like a greenthumb's paradise. Tons of indoor and outdoor plants and their room full of pots and planters is incredible.
Walked in a week before our simple, at home wedding and gave him some ideas for my bridal bouquet. We were on the same page from the start. His instincts were right on from a quick discussion. The end result was perfect! The price very reasonable. Great service all around!
Huge selection of happy, healthy plants. Service was very helpful and I even got sent home with a couple of airplants as a gift!
Prices are high, but this family owned nursery with it's expansive greenhouses is just spectacular! They have seeds and just about anything. Enjoy spring and paint away. It's right across the Greenwood cemetery.
