I arrived after they closed but they still have a drive-up ramp where I was able to drop off my post cards. Easy to negotiate in the Sprinter van!
My daughter went here in February to get her passport. We received a letter in the mail in May 3 weeks before we are to travel to Italy and the application was rejected due to the passport photo they took!!!
Here the thing about the post office. It’s a government run business- they really have no need to try and stay in business this is why it’s so awful. There is no awareness and push for excellence. Sad. The workers do what they need too.
I wanted to pay for a prepaid return envelope. The employee went to ask another employee on how to do it. The other employee promptly said we don't have prepaid return stamps. Apparently, there was another way of doing it but only a manager could do it and manager was not there. Told me to come back, but no one knew when should I come back. HUH? And wow.
Extremely slow every time I come here. Only one window is ever open
I went here on tax day and was expecting a long line of grumpy patrons and staff. But instead what I found was a smoothly run operation. Both the workers were efficient while being friendly and informative. This went along way in alleviating people's stress about their taxes and their time. It had a real ripple effect on everyone there. Great job! You managed to make paying my taxes almost pleasant.
2 people at the counter this morning, had already stood in line for about 15 minutes. A customer at the counter got a phone call and it was his female friend. He put her on speaker phone so she can ask the post office worker questions about a passport. Phone call lasted about a total of 5 minutes while myself and 4 other people just waiting our turn while the worker takes this phone call from the customers cell.
Saturday morning - needed just 2 rolls of stamps - 1 person working and working on a Passport application - 25 minutes later - still no stamps and still no additional help. Couldn't other people be waited on while the people are filling out the paperwork and while waiting for the picture to process??? Finally someone came on at 10am but only to sit their drink at their station and leave for another 10 minutes - ridiculous! Absolutely no customer service!
The woman at the counter couldn't have been any more apparently trying to aggravate a customer.
It's a post office, be prepared for a long wait if you need to be assisted by an employee. It's the nature of the beast.
