I’m fortunate to have a great doctor and her great nurse caring for me, they really do care about their patients. Oncology is a difficult career choice and only the very best survive providing the care, the overwhelming efforts, and the heart to do what they do everyday. I am very grateful with all those who I have had the privilege, the support, and the pleasure getting to know each one of them. Dr. Elder and her nurse, Julie, and every single nurse, medical assistant and support staff member work together and work very well as a team in the fusion area in a professional and personable manner. These kind of people in these areas of medicine and patient care are special, devoted, and truly make a difference in people’s lives. Thank you and you are greatly appreciated.

My care was exceptional. All the nurses and narcissist assistant were just terrific. The lady that came by to get my menu from nutrition was very caring and helpful. The food was also excellent.

Everyone prompt and efficient. Tech in mammography was very informative and tech in bone density gave me some good info regarding my Endocrinologist being an osteoporosis specialist. She was forwarding my results to all my doctors. Thought both gals were great!

All the staffing in the entire hospital were amazing! I received excellent care and everyone treated me with so much respect. They were prompt and courteous in all my cares. I felt like they were part of my family and made my hospitalization very pleasant!! Thanks to everyone who had a part in my care and helping me get through everything!! Your hospital is beautiful and I would recommend it to everyone.

The staff was amazing during the whole process of my delivery and aftercare. Nurses will always talk through anything if you have any questions. They are very respectful! The birth center is a beautiful building, and thankful I had both of my daughters there. Highly recommend this hospital!

I was trying to find a location for post surgery PT and called Advent for information.  The phone attendant was thorough, helpful and professional.  I have since been receiving PT at Advent Overland Park.  I am very satisfied with the care I  am receiving, cleanliness of the facility and helpfulness of the employees.  MY THERAPIST JARED is awesome!  He answers all questions and concerns I have and explains exercises very thoroughly.

I had to contact the oncall cardiologist this weekend and it was the worst physician experience I’ve ever had. Dr Wilt was rude, rushed and could not have been any less concerned with helping with my medical care. I am grateful he is not my actual cardiologist but it does make me consider changing providers completely so I don’t ever have to depend on him to save my life.

Everyone was wonderful. But my last nurse Hannah didn’t even introduce herself. Was rude to me. I have never given a bad review of anyone, ever. I just don’t say anything, but she was horrible

I must say that my team in the Healing District Cardiac Unit was AMAZING! Nurse Teddy really went out of his way, to make sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of. I miss him already. However, when I came through emergency and ICU, that was a whole other story. They treated me like I had no insurance. They wouldn’t give me any water or food, because of some test. Which I eventually ate and drank  and had the test with no problem. Once my insurance cleared deductible already paid They moved me to a very nice room and gave me Teddy!  Thanks again, Teddy. You picked up the fumble and ran it in for the touchdown! Happy Holidays

Staff was mostly great. Some of the BHAs need attitude adjustments. But everyone else was wonderful. The food was fine. Used to have more options. It gets pretty boring when no variety. This was my best experience in the ED. I felt safer with more checks than in the past.
