Shelmar is a great place to live! Its a prime location just five minutes from downtown Wooster and five minutes from the North end of town where there's a wal mart and plenty of restaurants . I love the friendly community and nice lots and quiet and clean streets and neighbors. Its not your typical trailer park! I feel safe and at home here in Shelmar! The management is great ! Everyone here takes care of their grass and landscaping and gardens. This is the perfect place to retire or start out in an affordable beautiful wooded country home affordable
I enjoy living here... It's very peaceful and quiet here the majority of the time. Most of the people around me here are very down to earth and kind! I like 90% of what happens here. My rating would be 4.5/5 stars. No half star so I'm putting 5. Honestly, this is the best ran and kept park in Wooster. I've seen all the others and there is no comparison ... This one is definitely #1.
People seemed nice I chatted with looking for new home. However there are a ton of dumpy homes that need either removed or enforced to get it together. Nicest one I seen was 55 and over on Cleveland road was very tidy.
