Shihtzu Factory

We purchased our precious Finley a few weeks ago and we absolutely adore him! He is so healthy, and such a beautiful little guy. He is sweet, super cuddly, and we all argue over who gets to hold him. We had a wonderful experience and we will be purchasing more puppies in the future!

I have two shihtzus that I have bought from Nancy. One is a male, one female. These precious pups mean everything to me. They are the sweetest, most lovable dogs I have ever owned. They will steal your heart! They have been very healthy too. They are 5 years old and 3 1/2 years.

I usually don’t give reviews, but I have to. If you want a sweet, lovable shih tzu………this is your breeder! You can tell Nancy loves her babies. They are healthy, full of personality, and such great companions!

Couldn't have asked for a better breeder. Nancy went through pouring rain to get my Mia to my flight nanny. She came to San Diego as happy and beautiful as expected. All this during COVID. I love updating her on Mia who is now 2.

O.K....Where do I start? I will start with Shih Tzus. I am a lover of this breed. I have always had them because of their sweet, loving, loyal, and downright funny nature. I have two now and began my search to find a 3rd for my wife as since we’ve been married, she has also grown to love this breed. There is a lot of hype online about “designer dogs” being unnecessary and cruel due to the hatred for “puppy mills”. There are puppy mills and there are people who love certain breeds and want to share the joy they bring. The Shih Tzu Factory is a warm and loving home filled with LOVED AND CARED for little Shih Tzus. The name can be a little deceiving as it is not a factory. It is a wonderful home filled with love for these tiny little creatures that we love so much. They are not mistreated, they are loved, fed well, cared for in hopes to bring much happiness, love, and laughter to people far and wide. In my search, for my new addition to my family, I ran across, online, The Shih Tzu Factory. As I said before, the name was a little deceiving until I spoke with a woman named Nancy. And when I say spoke I mean we spoke for days. I had missed her trip to Dallas to, out of the kindness of her own heart, delivering one of her jewels to their new home, by about two hours. While reviewing her very informative website, I ran across a beauty name Molly. “She was The One”!!!!! I knew it the second I saw her. As I said I have 2 at home and have owned 3 prior to my 2 angels. They have been and always will be the breed for my family. Nancy was very forthright in letting me know that Molly had an umbilical hernia. I’m familiar with them and know that they can be resolved. It was not a concern of mine at all but I appreciated her honesty. The reason that I felt the need to leave a review for this very nice woman is because in my search for my new puppy, I ran across a nasty and unnecessary Google review obviously left by someone having a bad day.… At least that’s what I hoped. Years ago, I bred Kendall because I wanted another “just like her”. I was not successful because you can’t predict nature. You can’t control nature. She was a great dog.…but not Kendall. She only lived 3 years and was only 3 pounds. One day I was holding little Coco and noticed that her teeth were loose and she had always had bad breath but I had never been told by the vet that her teeth were bad. So naturally I took her to the vet to have them worked on. About an hour after I left, I got a call from the vet saying that my Coco had passed away while under anesthesia. My first reaction was to blame the vet. “You killed my dog”!!!!! I thought. I was very upset but on my long ride back to the vet to retrieve my deceased Coco, I realized again, “YOU CAN’T PREDICT NATURE”!!!!! It was a horrifying experience but no one‘s fault. It just happened. They were very nice and did not charge me for any of the work done and then they had her cremated for me and placed in a very nice box with an engraved plate and her picture on it. They also gave me some things from the caring bridge and a marble stone with a quote and the name Coco on it. From what I understand, this person that was having a bad day was offered well enough money to pay the vet bill to correct a flaw in nature. I wasn’t told all the details because Nancy did not come across to be the type of person to Gossip. Nancy was so hurt by the review from this person, having a bad day, that she considered not sharing her gift of happiness to so many of us that love this particular breed. AND, by the way, her Shih Tzus have some of the best bloodlines I’ve ever come across. To this day, people drive up her driveway to catch a glimpse of the puppies in hopes of repairing their broken hearts from there lost Shih Tzus to The Caring Bridge. I am a hairdresser and have been for 20 years. There is no perfect haircut… It doesn’t exist. And I’m here to say none of Gods creatures are perfect. Nancy please keep doing what you’re doing. We enjoyed every part of working with Nancy at the Shihtzu factory. She helped guide us to the puppy that best fit our family dynamic; she actually steered us away from a more expensive puppy because she thought another puppy's personality was better with our children's ages. Champ came to use very healthy and happy. Our vet was very impressed with him and noted that he must have come from an excellent breeder.

I would never look anywhere else to purchase a dog! Nancy is so patient and make me feel really good on my choice. I get a chocolate male shih tzu and my husband and I are very happy to have Charlie Brown as our new family member. The puppy is well behaved, very calm and is perfect healthy. He is so smart and I could not ask for a better puppy. This was just a great experience and I couldn't be happier with my new little baby!! He is just adorable! Thank you Nancy :

We have bought 2 dogs over the last 20 yrs and they both have the loves of our lives! One passed away this last yr. She lived to the ripe old age of 15. Neither one of the dogs had any health issues. ...we love Nancy and the love that she has given our family! Be Blessed
