One of our favorite Asian buffets. The selection and food quality is in the top 1% of the buffet-type restaurants we've visited in both South and Central Florida, and the price reflects that. The staff has always been friendly, but what sets this restaurant apart is the quality of the food. The sushi bar is constantly manned by more than one chef making fresh rolls as needed, and the buffet is constantly being restocked from the kitchen before the dishes become empty. I've made tens of thousands of hand-breaded butterfly shrimp working in restaurant kitchens, and I've noticed that Shinju's fried shrimp are a step above the typical Chinese buffet shrimp. I doubt they are made in house, but I can definitely say that the quality and food cost are a bit higher than most Asian buffets. While the food is not as unique and delicious as a made-to-order, chef prepared meal, the food quality and freshness is definitely above the standard Chinese buffet fare. Although the selection is not as wide as some buffets, the quality of each dish more than makes up for the variety. We have dined here more than a dozen times and although one or two dishes have been lacking, overall we've never had a bad meal. The Good: Friendly staff. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Quality over quantity. Attention to freshness. The Bad: Less variety than on most buffets and hibachis. Higher cost than most Asian buffets. Deserts are the same prepackaged selections available at all buffets. The Ugly: None The Recommendations: The furniture is becoming worn. Start budgeting to replace fixtures soon to keep the appearance of the restaurant up to par. Make at least one unique desert item in-house to give a memorable end-of-meal experience to your diners. One of my favorite upscale Asian restaurants does a deep fried, tempura cheesecake with mango, chocolate and raspberry to die for. You could easily downscale this idea and make single-serve tempura cheesecake squares drizzled with raspberry/chocolate sauce for a minimal food cost that would blow your clients away. The Verdict: Would definitely come back again. One of the best date night locations for an Asian buffet if that's what your date wants.
The best Asian buffet in Coral Springs. The Sushi, salad, crab legs and shrimp are always fresh. The soups are perfect every time. The buffet has teriyaki beef, fried rice, dumplings, sauteed string beans, shrimp tempura and so much more. The cooked to order Hibachi is mouth watering. I eat the buffet, then get a full plate of everything from the Hibachi station in a to-go box. You pay the to-go box by the pound but it's the best leftovers you can eat for lunch or dinner the next day. Incredibly delicious.
Good quality food right temperature Big variety Raw and cooked food Fair price Good service Clean We recommended 100%
The food and service are average. If you go for dinner the price will be double for no reason. Overpriced! $22 per person too much for cold good. The only thing kind of ok, so so it's the hibachi.
Great buffet. Lunch doesn't have the crab legs nor tuna sushi. But it's really good. Dinner is an amazing buffet.
Service was acceptable but I'm sorry after I went for another plate I ran into crab legs that have been sitting there since who knows when.
The food is excellent for a buffet! The price is amazing lunch is just $10.00! Nowhere in any town are you going to get a array of Sushi for just $10.00. Always fresh because of the turn-around. Traditional Sushi, Japanese salads, & traditional Chinese food offered. You can always tell if a place is good Chinese if their soup is good. They were EXCELLENT! Yes, it is a very, very busy place, & jammed packed as ANY good restaurant is!!! You cannot go into a establishment & have 40 - 50 people in it & it not be noisy. That is just nonsense. I was very impressed & quite surprised at the exceptional quality. Highly recommended!!! You will NOT be disappointed.
Great buffet, best in town. Better than Santos. I go here at least twice a month. The only thing i don't like is the waitress's/or plate taker awayer, are nasty and rude. If you don't tip them at least 5 dollars they give you a dirty look and talk to their other wait staff and you know they're talking crap about you. Get rid of the wait staff, and this place is 5 stars. Excellent Sushi!
*** Location Closed *** Nice Selection of Sushi and Cooked Food. Everything is generally very fresh. If going on a Friday or Saturday night be ready for a wait. Busy Restaurant so nothing has a chance to sit any length of time. Pricing is reasonable for fresh sushi. Note that restaurant closes in the mid afternoon to reset for dinner, so avoid going during the mid closing point as they tend to not be busy and buffet freshness may suffer during this slower time.
Friendly Asian staff welcomes you and that makes you feel at home right away. Discount given to seniors as well. The buffet serves hot and chilled selections of freshly made Asian foods plus an area where American food is displayed. Hot and cold variety, sushi hand made by chefs right out where you can watch. From soups to dessert, a great place to go. Price is very affordable for all. My grandson loves to eat there. His first experience was when he was 6.
