Everyone we have dealt with at Shipman Funeral Home has been wonderful and caring. TJ took time to explain everything and was very informative. It felt like they truly care about the family as well as the person who has passed. I am very happy with how they treated my mom as well as how they treated the family.
The services provided were personal and professional. They left us with no unanswered questions, and were eager to assist us in any way possible. Although it was a very chaotic and sorrowful time, the staff went out of their way to see that our experience was expertly handled, in a timely manner. The slideshow was spot-on and very well done, and the obituary was, as well. I would highly recommend this Funeral Home to anyone needing quality and professional care at a very trying time for any family.
Shipman provides customer service with a capital C! They patiently walked us through the entire process and gave us time to ask questions, and change our minds numerous time, and provided a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere that made a very painful time a little more tolerable.
Hard to say that planning a funeral was a good experience, but the staff at Shipman's was so kind and helpful that it certainly eased worries and concerns at a tough time. They listened to what we wanted and ensured all plans went smoothly. There was no pushing to upsale, which l have seen at funeral homes in the past. Thank you to everyone at Shipman's.

There are no words to express the graciousness and genuine sincerity of the Shipman service and staff. They out did themselves in making the difficult experience of losing my mom, beautiful and without added stress. I cannot recommend their service enough. God bless you all.
TJ help our family through the tough process and was very helpful with our questions. So thankful for the kindness in this though time.if anyone ask in the Muskogee area he can make the process easier.
Would give more stars if the wife of the owner Jason shippman didnt have my mother and I unknowingly on a three way call with my aunt that was paying for my dads cremation and heard us say she is in charge. Made my aunt upset because she is stuck up and further proved my point and backed out of paying for her own brothers service. My great aunt on my moms side ended up helping me instead. Very unprofessional and sleazy thing to do.

We appreciate your kindness and ability to easily navigate through the unexpected challenges. So glad we found you to handle mom’s final arrangements, thank you !
Very satisfied with the customer service that the funeral home provided. I would highly recommend everyone to use their service. The funeral home was very quick in working on the paperwork and patient with me and the family in the time of bereavement. Shipman Funeral explained everything that we needed to complete the process of cremation. I enjoyed the time had speaking with them. I would like to thank all the staff at Shipman Funeral Home in Muskogee for being very professional with us. Again Thank You!!!!!!
