Shogun Palace Japanese Steakhouse

I've been going to shogun for years and the food is always top notch! I was in today for an ichiban roll with a friend. We come so often that the waitress knows our orders by heart. I was very disappointed with the roll today, it was missing the crunchies and the spicy mayo, and the tuna didn't taste spicy either. There was also a $2 price increase on it! Seriously disappointed! We pointed out the difference in quality to someone and they talked to the chef about it. I really would have appreciated a discount on the meal. I'm reluctant to go back, it's expensive and not as good as it was.

The sushi was very good but the service was terrible. There was not already brewed green tea, this is a must at a Japanese restaurants. I got a mug with a tea bag and was charged $3 for it, tea is always free. The waitress never asked or brought me more hot water. She brought our miso soup and sushi at the same time. Our bottle of soy sauce she brought us was barely full, we needed more to finish our meal, She didn't come back for 30 minutes to check on us so we sat unable to eat. When she finally came it took another 5 minutes to bring the bottom of soy sauce back. Shouldn't a Japanese Restaurant have tons of full bottles of soy sauce?? My friend was going to order another roll but decided not to because the waitress was awful. Oh and by the way, there was only two other tables in the place. I will not be going back.

found 2 inch long sharp piece of metal in my food, spent $180.00 for 4 people very careless food handling manger did not offer any discount or any incentive for me to return not even a coupon. food was good prices seemed higher than menu on two of the meals.

Food was fantastic service was good. Our cook was an annoying prick. One dirty fork out of four forks.

New chef is better than ever. In the past the sushi was decently good, now it's great!

Very tasty food, and a combination of small orders in the dining room made for an affordable dinner of Mushroom soup Wonderful and Sushi.

so unprofessional their website says they close at 10 pm on Sunday but for some reason today they decided to stop serving at 8:45 I just drove from Henrietta to find out that they wouldn't let me in sooo dissapointed

A fun night out at the hibachi. The kids loved it and the steak and shrimp were delicious.
