This place was so much like eating at home. The food was delicious , the staff was super friendly. We really enjoyed everything. If you're looking for a home setting to enjoy a great meal come to this place you won't be disappointed and believe me I have been to plenty enough restaurants in lots of different states so I speak from experience & this was a better than expected experience. I definitely recommend this place.
I grew up eating at Shoney's, so this was a huge nostalgic experience at the least. It is good to see they have stuck to their roots, with a great food and salad bar, great service, and of course the hot fudge cake. While lunch is great, this is really the place to go for the breakfast bar. If you are looking for simple, affordable, home style food without the frills, Shoney's is still the place.
Just had the breakfast buffet. Food was great, but our waitress, Anne was the best! She is sweetest lady & her personality alone is worth eating there especially if she's your waitress.Food: 5/5
I felt like having a salad today, so I went to this location just to get the cold salad bar. I had to check the doors to make sure they were actually open, because there was nobody in the parking lot. I should have taken that as a sign, but they had decent reviews, so I went in. I was ignored upon entering, even though there were at least 6 employees, standing around talking to each other. I finally got someone's attention, & was seated. Then I was ignored for another few minutes, until the only employee who seemed to be working, stopped sweeping the floor & waited on me. The iceberg lettuce needed to be replaced, but I managed to pick out just enough, to make a small salad. The food was ok, but while I was eating, a couple of the employees started checking the salad bar items, coughing as they did so. They did cover their mouths, but with Covid & the Flu going around, they should have been wearing masks while around the food. The rest of the employees continued to chat with each other, instead of helping to get the restaurant ready for the dinner rush. My waitress only came once to drop off my check, but never asked if I needed anything else. I realize Shoney's isn't one of the best restaurants in the area, but being their only customer, at the time, I thought I'd at least be treated better than I was. I definitely won't be back.
in town for graduation and a small family gathering the staff was wonderful and welcoming for me, my sons daughters in law, and my five grandchildren.Food: 5/5
Y’all have got to go to Shoney’s in Seiverville,TN. The food was good and hot when Lorene bought it out. Everything was tasty, the salad, the pinto beans, yes I said pintos and cornbread! The Baked Spaghetti was huge in portion and so delicious. Our waitress, Lorene, had to be the kindest server I’ve ever met. I cannot say enough about her. Shoney’s should pay her more because I know she is worth GOLD!
Absolutely wonderful dining experience all the way around . The restaurant was not busy at all . Very clean and , very comfortable place to eat. The buffet was very clean and, well stocked . Every staff member was very clean and friendly . The parking lot was easy to excess. Shoney's you have done a great job . Priced very reasonable .

We love this Shoney's!!! We so wish this specific Shoney's and its staff were in our home city, but we will be sure to stop here whenever we pass through Sevierville. Their buffet was clean and delicious. The manager and chef, Austin, said our visit was the first day trying out a brand new chili recipe, and believe us, it is a 1st Prize Winner! Tastes just like a homemade secret recipe! We would stop and eat here next time if they only had this chili! The server Missy was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was clean, and the very nice 60's music was not too loud. It's all about management and the people hired. Thank you Austin, and thank you Shoney's! - Bill and Lena
Got the buffet it was horrible. The salad bar was fresh and good. However the shrimp was hard and it seemed like it was out there a long time. The fried chicken was dry and been out to long the green beans had no flavor. Don't knkw what type meat was in the gravy but wasn't appealing. Mashed potatoes and gravy was good . They also had breakfast on other side and French toast sticks was hard . Definitely wasn't a good experience.
