Shore Prosthetics and Orthotics LLC was created specifically to provide for the prosthetic needs of home-bound patients and nursing home residents.
There are constant changes being made to better the technology in the prosthetic and orthotic fields. These advancements allow Shore Prosthetics and Orthotics to offer the most progressive components which will allow you to experience a better fitting and more comfortable artificial limb or brace. Currently new lightweight plastics, rugged carbon fiber, and soft silicone liners can help to increase your endurance, abilities, and comfort.
We understand that a common issue shared by many patients is the difficulty of traveling to the prosthetic/orthotic office. Our practice addresses this issue with home and facility visits. Home and facility visits for evaluations and the custom-fitting of the prescribed devices are available in the Maryland Chesapeake Bay area. All of our devices come with complete follow up care to ensure proper fit and function as you change.
