ABOUT DR. DOCTOR
Dr. Doctor completed undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at Texas A & M University. Received Doctor of Medicine degree with High Honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He received the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biochemistry from Baylor University and subsequently completed a National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Doctor completed residency training in Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and served as the Chief Resident in Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals prior to starting private practice.
Dr. Doctor is a member of the American Neuropsychiatric Association, American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacolgy, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Psychiatric Association, Harris County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Doctor is on the Medical Staff at The Methodist Hospital in Houston. He has served on the Medical Advisory Board of the Tourette Syndrome Association of Greater Houston and as a Voluntary Faculty Member in the Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine. He serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the PANDAS Resource Network.
Dr. Doctor has presented and lectured at scientific meetings and symposiums, authored numerous scientific publications, and is a contributing author to the American Psychiatric Press Textbook of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences
