"A beautiful 50 acre campground with full amenities located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have a swimming pool, a fishing pond, a playground, and a clean Bathhouse, all of which come with your stay here at Silver Creek. It’s a great place to return to at the end of the day after visiting the many first-class attractions nearby."

I used the pool. $7 per adult not staying at the campground. Nice setting. Bathrooms are very close with access to a shower. Vending machine, well stocked on pool deck.Location: 5/5
Well my name is Manny I travel around the United States I am retired I am amazed to Lisa and George they are the best host managers I am speechless there is nothing words can say If you're in the area definitely stop by Silver Creek Campground talk to Lisa and you We'll be satisfied much more to say unreal
Such a beautiful piece of property tucked away in NC. They have cabins you can rent and tent sites. There is a pool and fishing pond on site. We like staying here because of the close proximity to Green River and it’s tubing. I really feel like this place has the potential to be amazing, but lacks some features that could make it more enjoyable for the kids. A playground would be a nice touch as it seems if the kids aren’t at the pool they don’t have much entertainment.
First off, this would be a great place if the people who run the place would actually be correct on there information and not lie to customers for what they are renting, example of what I am speaking of is that we were told when reserving the deluxe cabin about 4 months in advance for two weeks. We were told we would have a separate room from the loft and would have a queen sized bed while the child would have a full which would have been nice. Instead what we came into was a futon and a twin bed resting up in the loft, a ladder for a bunk bed that is not bolted or have any stability within the cabin flooring to even climb up to the top. I almost fell through the front door twice due to the instability of the ladder. I WOULD NOT recommend this camp site unless your getting a tent, because that seems to be the only way this place is worth it. 800 dollars for a cabin for two weeks with hot water that lasts for 5 minutes. I will not be bringing my family back here again once the cabin is fully paid over, and I hope the owner reads this, because false advertising is not appreciated.
People was very nice. They try there best to make sure our cabin was ready for us. They had food in the office. The pool was relaxing. The bathhouse was clean. Really liked it
Campground was a little ran down had a lot of permanent tenants there some of the spots are not quite level but overall peaceful and pretty good rates bath house was pretty good shape and we went to silver Creek tubing and tubed the 3 hours the fourth hour we were told would be to shallow overall three out of five stars. Also has a pond on site that they claim is fully stocked my son fished a little over 2 hours all together and never had a bite also other people we talked to did not catch anything.
My husband made reservations for two nights. We arrived around 0945 and waited until around 1010 opens at 10 and called the number, the owner was so nice and had some Health issues so she told us to go on to our site and we could pay later. We dropped off our camping tote with our gear and a tarp and planned to come back and set up. We came back around 6:30 after fishing all day, drove to the site and noted several people cooking out, one lady packing a knife on her hip. We arrived to our site and our stuff was gone! We called the owner who said she was on her way and was going to call the lady to oversees the campground for her. I got out of the truck and began looking around I’m nosy and saw the lid to our tote in the woods. I walked up there and found our tote-the lid was broken but everything was there. I heard people above us talking and asking other campers did they see anyone down here who took our stuff. I yelled up at them and said well someone was down here because here is our stuff! We proceeded to put it in the truck. The owner arrived and apologized and offered for us to stay for free but we declined.
This place is awful. There is so much drug activity and several permanent residents it's ran down. And the owner knows of such drug activity and refuses to do anything about it. The cabins have bed bugs we had 2 friends of ours book a weekend in 2 separate cabins and ended up having to leave and request a refund due to the bugs. The pool was never cleaned there was food all over the deck it's a complete mess.
Wilma is a £ady of the first order. Campers were nice, kids were polite! Plenty of ice n snacks. Remember it's camping and not the Ramada Inn. Take everything you need and then some. Not for Barbie & Ken, unless you have a brand new camper. No Whiners needed, lol. Stores, firewood close by 3 miles. "Do unto others" Larry Shroyer Sr. ~~~~~~~~~~£££
We didn't stay here. But, we visited family that was staying there. It was very quiet. There was a lady cleaning the bathroom area when we headed to the restroom. She was very polite and friendly. The bathrooms were clean. They could use some updating. But, I have definitely seen MUCH worse. We will probably visit again and possibly even camp there in the future.
