Courtney cut my daughters hair today, she’s been wanting this style for months and I made her think about it for a long time before finally going to get it done. I went to 5 salons/ barbershops and got turned away cause what I assume is they were scared to do something so drastic on a kids head. Courtney did exactly what we wanted and we can’t wait to come back and switch up designs as it grows back out! Thank you silver lake barbershop for helping my bad a$$ girl get the hair of her dreams!

Had Jen today for a quick buzz cut and foil shave. She was sloppy, missed several spots on my head and had to ask her to do it again. She missed hair behind the ear and in front. I could tell that she was going to not do a good job as she was cutting. She even let the cap fall down and I got hair all on my clothes and shoes and under my collar of my shirt underneath. Sloppy!! This was rediculas and will not ever come back! There are so much other better shops out there. I highly recommend Rainier Barber in Everett. They are the best. Don’t go here!Service: Buzz cut

Got a pretty standard haircut, #1 on sides and back, finger length on top. 10 minutes, perfectly serviceable haircut. Then she rings me up. Initially she rings it up as a haircut for $25. A little spendy but not bad. Then, she suddenly says, "hold on a sec," and changes it to a "fade" for $32... If you like getting soaked dry for your haircut, this place is for you.Service: Haircut

I’ve been coming here for years. To the point I just sit and immediately converse with everybody in the shop. My two boys get their haircuts here too and everytime I am 110% satisfied with the service. 10/10 recommend this spot if you want to get cleaned upServices: Fade cut

This shop is first class. I just received my second haircut from Linda, and man, I could not be more satisfied! This gal has some skill!After being disappointed by multiple local shops, I am thrilled to have found this shop where I can rest assured that my haircut will turnout exactly how I expect it, if not better! No more need to ask if I can see a mirror half way through my cut, dreading that they chopped to much off in the wrong spots. These folks have some serious talent and I will be coming back to Linda until I move out of town or she quits cutting hair! I cannot recommend this shop enough!... at least if you’re getting trimmed up by Linda. I can’t speak for the other guys, but everyone I see leaving the shop looks sharp on their way out! Go to Silver Lake Barber Shop! You won’t regret it!

My family has been coming to this shop for years.. always fast and friendly service. The staff are very experienced and give amazing haircuts!! There is a pool table and a PlayStation that keeps us entertained while we wait, love this place… highly recommend it!!Service: Haircut

Worst hair cut I have ever had. I was surprised that the lady cut my hair in literally 5 minutes which has never happened before. She cut out a clear bald patch on the back of my head in the hurry which I noticed after coming home. Also there was absolutely no finishing on the sides. Very unprofessional customer service. Save your $25 and get a hair cut else where.

A one star is even generous! My husband goes to this barber shop and has been helped by the owner and gotten superb service! Yes, I understand walk-ins are not guaranteed but we called and specifically mentioned we’d be a walk-in for a child’s cut and if they had time, the lady who answered the phone, said “let me take a look, yes we will have someone available at 3 for that.” Thanking her, we said “we’ll see you in 20 minutes and she replied, see you then!” We get there, walk-in and I’m assuming a different lady than who answered the phone asked if we had an appointment, I replied with we do not but we are the walk-in that just called for 3 o’clock. She rudely walks over to the front and looks at the computer and says, the soonest we have available is 4, I stated we just called 20 minutes ago and were told we could come at 3, she rudely replied that walk-ins are not guaranteed, I said I understand but we just called and you said someone would be available to cut his hair, and can I ask why you’d say come in and we’ll see you then instead of saying that’s fine to come at 3 but it’s not a guarantee, she just looked at me and said would you like to book at 4!?!?! I do not understand, this does not make sense to me and is horrible customer service, I would have been willing to wait if she wasn’t so rude. Needless to say, I said no thanks and walked right back out the door. And unfortunately they just lost a customer in my husband as well. I don’t expect any special privileges but common courtesy and kindness would have gone a long way!

I almost gave up hope after experiencing a few bad cuts from other places before finding this place. I just walked in and was very impressed by all the regulars who were there, it gave a good feeling about this spot. The barber Tino who had some ideas for my crazy, wild beard and balding head came through! lol Somehow he was able to make me look great!!! Place is a chill and open atmosphere, there were a couple male barbers and a female hair dresser. Overall it is affordable, friendly, informal and Tino was the man! I will be back!
