Silver Lake Rest Area

So clean rest are is one of the few well maintained rest areas. For truckers the restrooms are not to close as the other ones.it has a rv dumping station

This is perhaps the worst rest stop that I have ever used. I was towing a camping trailer and when I attempted to stop, there were no spots. This was because nearly the entire area looks like a homeless camp. Many of the trailers and vehicles parked look as though they hadn't been moved in a very long time and do not intend to. Some didn't even have trucks attached. I did not feel safe letting my wife go to the bathroom alone, and it was the middle of the day. When I used the mens bathroom there was someone half dress "bathing " in the sink. This place is discussing! We deserve better for our tax money.

Grounds are clean ,restrooms too Thanks to all the men and women that keep the rest areas in such lovely condition. Pet area stocked with bags for pet clean up. Would be a nice addition to have a pet watering station at each rest srea I was there at night and I felt safe there, for you dingle travelers. If you stop in to see this amazing and home feel rest stop you may find it closed from time to time due to needing cleaning . But don't worry it'll reopen soon.

I love this test are it has a dump and potable water it’s perfect for kids to play and run and it’s safe kept thanks to the state trooper building they are also very nice

Stopped just after 9 pm, almost no place to park. Looks like plenty of people living there by the looks of the vehicles that were full of stuff with the owner and companions sitting or sleeping inside. So the one hour parking is obviously not followed, so for those of us needing a potty break, no place to park and felt unsafe even with the WA State Patrol office right on the same property. We just pulled out and left for safer spot to use a restroom. Won't stop here again.

Comfy place relaxing with a beautiful lawn and clean bathrooms. There was a nice pet area with heavy dogs playing and doing their business . We arrived in a big rig truck and there was plenty of parking with lots of room to get in and out of the parking lot .. They had a unisex bathroom which I thought was nice because then I had a sink right there and after riding for 30 hours, it was refreshing to be able to refresh myself in a more private setting then the regular public bathroom with a row of sinks and people walking behind as I brushed my teeth. I will look for this rest up again on my way home because honestly I left the rest area feeling a bit rested and refreshed

Had to dump the RV. Hard to find a slip to pull into for RV's as it seem there a people living in their RV's in the parking area.

I love this place I always stop here on the way towards Seattle. I usually take my dog and it has a nice area that is kept clean and I feel safe walking my dog there for a break for her. It's usually really busy but the bathrooms are clean and there is a state troopers office on the premises so I always feel safer. It is a huge truck stop and weigh station so you have to be careful merging back on I-5 but it's not hard unless it's raining. They also have a lot of information for travelers while waiting for others I have found information around our area I didn't know about.
