I could not stay as they say they are pet friendly, but they are only "small" pet friendly. They need to remove their pet friendly symbol on the website to "small" pet friendly. My non-aggressive dog, which is a 3 yo lab which is over 30 pounds is NOT welcome.
Lifers here with real old RVs an Mobil homes M H have wooden expansions to the trailers. Just an old run down place that they're trying to run as an RV Park. Not a place for large RV. Very difficult to maneuver entering and exiting Only three or four sites for large pull through RVs if the electric is working. DP near us had to move The drive to your location Blacktop road has holes, cracks, bumpy from tree roots pushing up n low hanging palm trees n some areas. The sights were formally mobile home trailers. There's no room between one location from the other. You're sewer is located next to a picnic table for the other site. Site pad are have cracked Blacktop, n sand very little grass if any. I posted pictures showing the area and also after a rainstorm a real nightmare.
Paid $64.95 for a tiny little space without a picnic table or fireplace. Very close to an old trailer. Not sure why it was recommended by a state ranger. Most sites are permanent. Shared facilities were pretty clean and decent but nothing special. update: I corrected the amount charged but in response to the owner we were definitely there and there was not a picnic table or fire place.
The prices they'll qoute you online over the phone are not the same when you arrive. Because the computing system they've installed to squeeze every dollar from the customer will change the rates and management who'll tell you this says they're hands are tied. They're charging me peak months rates for off season stay. You come here, bring your Vaseline
We stayed here Jan- March 6th 2023. First the good, it's a decent park, friendly people and ok bath/showers and laundry room. Laundry is $2 alot cheaper than off property. The pool was nice. Now the bad, they never had the propane working the entire 2 months they said no one was certified. They constantly ran out of paper towels in the men's bathroom. The showers are dated and I'd replace the plumbing fixtures. The roads need repaved many lots hold water. They said nothing could be done. They ran out of propane at the laundry once in that 2 months. The new management needs to communicate better. I spoke with a lower manager about reserving a space next year, the upper manager was right there. I found a good spot, she told me the other lady at the desk would help her get the reservation set up and she would either call me or I could stop back in with my credit card info to finalize the reservation. I stopped in the next day with my credit card. I was told by yet another lady that I had to go 3 months so my request for 2 months was denied. The other 2 managers could have told me about this new rule the day before. Im not able to stay 3 months but they did not care I guess no exceptions. No mention about that. Maybe try better communication they lost several potential renters the same time I was in the office for the same thing. They told me I could try later this summer. I'll never stay there again. The shuffleboard and Bocci courts are worn and need redone
The park is nice, old but clean. Convenient to local activities.Location: 5/5
Booked a reservation online for November, received a call to confirm the reservation. Later in the day, we received an email notifying us that they have cancelled our reservation because during their snowbird season they do not allow children - which was not listed on the website at the time of our booking. We have been notified that they are not refunding us our deposit because of their “no refunds policy”. This is absolutely outrageous and a poor business practice. If it was a cancellation due to policy, that’s fine. We can accept that without issue. But to refuse to return our deposit paid only 8-hours prior to the cancellation notice is unethical to say the least.
Heard this park is under new management well that's nice too know but some of the photos are not of silver springs RV park .who ever did the photos have put the state park in there too show campers the park. Be real silver springs RV park needs to get rid of campers that have been coming for 25 yrs or more need to move on and give other's a chance at the park. God bless and hope it gets better
First time at this park. Check in was perfect, warm and friendly and the young lady was so nice and helpful. She made sure we were escorted to our site by a very nice gentleman. Setup was a breeze and we took our Boston Terrier for a walk around the park which we found very clean and well maintained. As I walked by the pool I noticed it was very clean and inviting. Everyone was friendly. The location of this park is perfect. Keep up the good work and we will definitely be returning
