My granddaughter had her first summer camp experience here! She didn't want to come home. Full of godly people and learning about God and the Bible. My other 5 grands will be going next year!
I have been here multiple times it's not just for youth. There's something peaceful about being on the mountainside. There are a lot of activities in between preaching services, and the preaching is good. It's a good chance to get away and refocus on God. Also, my sister is working there again this summer :
I had the opportunity to go years ago. The best preaching I’ve heard in my life. God is up there on that mountain waiting for you ! Absolutely the best if you have the opportunity to go.
One of the best Camps I've ever been to. They have a real zeal for God, and wants to encourage the youth to have it too. God got a hold of my heart at this camp, and I would recommend it to anyone.
If you have the opportunity, go! I realized that I needed to accept Jesus as my Savior while I was here. I believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and repented of my sins, asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and I accepted His free gift of eternal life! No more doubts! I know heaven is my home after I die. Jesus is the only way! Praise God for Him using this camp to change my life, here & now & forever!
Although it is close to Denver, you would never know because it's so well hidden and separated; it's such a beautiful place!
I'm the 3rd generation to attend this camp from age 7-14 and have returned many times since. This place will forever establish my love for Christ and Nature and appreciation of life. From Chuck wagon cookout Thursday under the stars to the temple my grandfather helped rebuild when the snow took it down.... the chapel, playground, horseback riding, capture the flag in 6ft snow for winter camp, where I found my love for Jesus and was born again.... my forever home on this Earth until we dine in Paradise with Jesus Long live SilverState Baptist Youth Camp!
I loved this! Our church goes every year and this will be my sixth! I love the missionaries that come and preach every year! All of them do so good! My favorite last year was Brother Disney!!
I love this place. They stick to the word of God and make sure Christ is the center of everything. They promote the personal relationship with Jesus that we all should have. It is a special place that God has set aside for His glory, that is for sure.
It was one of the best camps I have ever been to
