My first three years living at Simmons Park had been positive until switching to a larger unit in October 2022. I looked at other apartments on Daniel Island but decided to sign another lease at Simmons Park because I was happy here, the layout was what I needed, and I figured it would be an easy move. Upon move-in to a new apartment unit, there was a long list of condition and maintenance issues including sloppy paint, food residue in dishwasher, broken closet shelves, multiple doors that would not latch properly, damaged blinds, broken ceiling fan and a handful of other small issues. Unacceptable for a new unit, and the property manager later admitted that they never inspected the unit pre-arrival. Some maintenance requests are taking multiple attempts to resolve, and a few issues upon move-in nearly two months ago still have not been resolved. Disappointed in the current management as I didn’t experience this with any of the previous management groups. Interior public spaces and hallways are in rough condition in comparison to most of the other apartment complexes on Daniel Island, which rent at about the same price point as Simmons Park, or lower. The property has a good location and looks nice on the outside, but that is no longer a big differentiator as there are many apartment options on Daniel Island that have opened in the last 1-3 years. At this point, I couldn’t recommend someone moving to Simmons Park.
I am going on 3 years living here and have loved every minute! I am close to everywhere, including Charleston and the beach. The staff and other residents are amazing and easy to get along with.
My husband and I moved to Simmons Park back in August and have loved it. The location is wonderful. There is a grocery store, a few restaurants, a dog park and a small beach area all within walking distance and anything else you may need or want is within 15-20 min driving. Our move in was easy, fast and efficient. Our apartment was in beautiful condition with no issues at move in. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the apartments are quiet with minimal outside noise. The kitchen brings on the envy of my family and friends with the beautiful counters, cabinets and stainless appliances. The closets are massive and come equipped with shelving. The one service request that I placed was responded to immediately and proficiently. The service team are prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. The leasing agents and manager are super friendly, helpful, kind and always smiling. Every encounter I have had with any one of the staff members has been extremely professional and pleasant. Each one of them takes time out of their day to pet your dog if you walk by and ask how you are doing. The many resident events at the property help build a community and friendships. The amenities are wonderful! The pool is beautiful and overlooks a pond, with grills in the pool area. The gym also overlooks the pool and pond area, which is really nice when working out. The community room is lovely, complete with a huge TV, pool table, two computers with a printer, coffee, fridge and lots of seating and tables. Great for a party! I would highly recommend this apartment community!
Simmons Park has been, by far, the best apartment complex I've lived at. The amenities are great, sure. The staff however, is spectacular. Michelle manages the place so well. It definitely feels like coming home here. We had some special requests that have been fulfilled with no issues and we've been really happy here. It's a great place to live, it's walking distance to everything, there are bikes and tricycles to check out and use, it's very pet friendly, and just generally friendly. The apartments are pretty, comfortable, and I haven't had any noise issues. Really nice.
I moved into Simmons Park 3 years ago next month. The amenities here are awesome. As you can see from my profile picture I enjoy a beautiful view from my patio. I can't say enough good things about the staff; friendly, cooperative, and tops in their profession in customer service. Prior to the virus affecting our social lives, we had some great neighborhood get-togethers by the pool. It's like living at a resort! Bill
Christine in the office is very helpful and goes out of her way to make sure you get what you need. It’s clean and the ammenities such as the parking garage are great! It’s also walking distance to shops and restaurants.
I met Ryan a few months ago at the Leasing Office of Simmons Park Apartments when I came to my  BNI meeting. Since the first time I came into the building I noticed how inviting and charismatic he was. I have been visiting Simmons Park Building on a weekly basis for my  BNI meetings and  Ryan has always been very supportive and helpful. His caring personality makes anyone  feel comfortable in his presence. I truly feel Ryan is one of those few people who has that unique talent to build deep connections with others. What a great way to cultivate meaningful work through Wholehearted living! Ryan, I wish you all the best in business and in life!" With gratitude Luci LLeon
I absolutely love living at Simmons Park! I just moved in last month and I have to say it’s by far the best apartment living experience I have ever had. The apartment layouts are perfect and have so much space! They offer every amenity I could have possible asked for. It’s perfect for my pups as well! They definitely enjoy their walks around the community and seeing everything from the balcony of my apartment. Aside from the apartments and the community itself, I have to acknowledge the wonderful help I received when moving in. Catherine was so detailed and friendly that I felt like I could trust her completely. She found the perfect apartment for me in the exact location I was hoping for. She even took into consideration the needs of my pups! She definitely went above and beyond to make me happy. The team overall has been GREAT. From the management to maintenance, I have no complaints! I will definitely refer my friends here and will continue living here for the years to come until I decide to leave Charleston. You DEFINITELY want to live here. - One Extremely Happy Resident
Simmons Park has been a great place to live over the last 3 years. The grounds are always manicured perfectly, the building is clean and smells good, the maintenance staff is prompt and gets it right the first time and the office staff has made this place a place you will love to live. The community is secure and gated/covered parking and there are also elevators! Every community claims to have "resident events" but Simmons Park is always doing something extraordinary for their residence and they don't hold back on the spending. This has helped create a real sense of community within the building You'll probably meet you new best friend here. The pool is great, the gym is excellent, the community room is spacious with high ceilings and SP is a really short walk to everything Daniel Island. I could go on and on or you could just come look for yourself. I highly recommend Simmons Park
I have lived at Simmons Park for over a year and resigning my lease was an easy decision. There are many reasons to live at Simmons; the gorgeous pool and grill area, a loaded gym with everything you need, the well-designed club room, and excellent location in addition to other amenities, kind neighbors and don't forget about the staff! It is always a pleasure to chat with the community manager, Lindsey. She is a great help whenever you need anything. The maintenance team also deserves a shoutout! Recently JJ came to fix a clogged drain. After doing so he also fixed some other issues he noticed like changing some lightbulbs that I didn't even realize were out! I can't say enough good things about living at Simmons. I suppose that's why many residents have been here for years!
