Simpson Rugby is getting ready to launch their spring spring 7s campaign and work its way to a national championship in Philadelphia May 31st-June 1st!
The Simpson College rugby team is on its way toward becoming a 7s national powerhouse. After finishing 4th in the country (NSCRO division) after only their first season, they are excited and ready to take on the challenges of their second season. Coach Norlin's vision is to see the establishment of a men's and women's program, each with 50 members, in span of five years. Each team will annually compete for national championships and place several players in the national team and Olympic team pools. Both teams will have received varsity status, or its equivalent. Simpson College will be the place rugby athletes want to continue playing the sport they have come to love.
Foster the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth of student-athletes by enabling them to compete to the highest level in the sport of rugby.
