Hired Christine from SMS Dog Training this past spring to help with our 2 chihuahua mixes 20lbs each. We had gotten a new puppy and my chi-mixes were not very accepting of him and kept attacking him. They are very much reactive dogs and we could not take out in public because they bark and react so much, it’s embarrassing! We did inhome training and it was an amazing transformation!  The first day, they barked nonstop and screamed. Half way thru training they were doing the commands. Now, I brought home 3 foster puppies and introduced them tomy 2, 7 days later. I put the collars on both of mine and they did not react like they would have prior to the training. We were so impressed! I did what Christine told me to do. I put leashes on all the dogs and took it really slow. It went really well! We’re so proud of my 2 dogs!

Our rescue pup Sebastian has  a checkered past.  Severe anxiety that generally led to fear based aggression meant he was shuffled from shelter to shelter for the first two years of his life.  The training and care he received at Sit Means Sit was incredible.  He’s a completely different dog, and his truly sweet nature is finally able to shine through.  We can’t thank Christine, Isis and Mickey enough for their hard work.  We would recommend their services to anyone in need.

I cannot stress enough how much Kharmalena is part of our family, and that is why I was hesitant to leave her with a trainer or anyone for two weeks. She had never stayed with anyone outside of our family. But when Christine with Sit Means Sit came to our home, I knew I had to take a leap of faith. Kharmalena immediately LOVED Christine and interacted so well with her. Kharmalena had severe fear of the outside world. I could not get her in my vehicle, walk her outside my yard, sometimes get her to leave the front door. Now, this is her walking on a path, about a mile from our home, with occasional vehicle traffic. Words can't express the change this has had on our lives - just being able to take her to the vet without issue is huge. Thank you Christine for all of your hard work with Kharmalena!!

Christine was an amazing trainer! We got a 2 year old pit mix from the local SPCA. Our main in goal was to have her off leash in our yard so we could enjoy outside time. Christine exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier!

Mikki and her team at Sit Means Sit are wonderful. We just got our 2 dogs back after a two week training stay with Mikki. My husband and I were blown away by how much they learned during their stay. On their first day home I got comments from 2 neighbors. They each have dogs they walk that usually result in quite a bit of barking and even unwanted visits as they walk by.. not anymore. My dogs sit calmly as they go by without even a whine. The house is now a quiet sanctuary like it used to be. No more constant barking at passing neighbors or UPS. I can take them safely outside off leash and know they will not run into the street or into a neighbors lawn.  Love Mikki as she is so compassionate and caring. She is wonderful at what she does and shared videos and photos with me during my dogs stay with her. She was also available to speak with me on the phone before their visit for an hour each time to get information on my dogs likes and dislikes. I never felt rushed during our conversations and she was truly interested in our discussions. .I  am very impressed with the whole staff who worked with my dogs and could not be happier with the results. I am an actual customer…. And my story is real!

My dog Merlin was suffering from intense anxiety in public and around newcomers at home.  During his evaluation with Sit Means Sit he wouldn't stop barking and severely shaking, he would always do this with strangers.  We just had our first visitor after working with trainer Christine for some time in both private and public training sessions and the difference was night and day.  He was able to sit on the couch with me, no barking, and no shaking.  He would only let out a few low chuffs from time to time, and even let my friend pet him. The difference was night and day.  I fully recommend Sit Means Sit Manassas.  Thank you Christine.

Christine is an amazing training and I recommend her highly. My 5 month old Great Pyrenees mix is a fairly strong puppy and HE called the shots. Christine taught us that WE are in charge and he is to listen to us. He went from a puppy that was rambunctious to a puppy that is well behaved and can walk without a leash in our neighborhood. Thank you Christine for your expertise and care.

The crew at Sit Means Sit Manassas in one word...AMAZING!!!  Nothing but great things to say about Mickie, Christine and crew.  We did the 2 week board and train program while we were away on summer vacation and came back to a totally different dog.  He is become super responsive and obedient.  A big plus for us were to 2 follow up lessons...it helped us work on our pups problem areas and make us more comfortable with training him ourselves.  A big thanks to the whole crew!!!!

Thank You Sit Means Sit Manassas for taking such good care of our girl. She is so much better on her leash. And with all of her other commands, we are all so grateful.

Due to our location in a condo with high traffic area, we needed some help training our little girl, Jade. Our 1.5 year old Labrador retriever was a quarantine dog so anxiety was her best friend. We decided to go with Sit Means Sit Manassas which was absolutely one of the best decisions we could have made. Not only did Mickie and her team work with Jade with the commands, they helped her adjust better to crate training.  We are overall extremely impressed with this experience and can’t wait to start the group classes! Now if only I can train my fiancé as easily.
