Hubby ended up here while on vacation. From the moment we arrived until we were discharged, we encountered wonderful people everywhere we went. Always felt like they had my husband’s health as a top priority. Hope to never have to be in the hospital again, but would definitely feel comfortable here.
They are kind and helpful. 1 nurse was running into the wall with the roller bed after my son's surgery. Other than that we feel they did well with surgery for our 6 year old son for appendicitis.
I love Dr Guanzon and his staff. They are compassionate. They do not make you feel like a number. They listen and take care of all your needs in a timely manner.
Nothing but professionalism at its finest. Dr Bal is a consummate professional who has her patience’s best interest. She is truly a delight to have as a doctor,. She is always looking out for my best interest and health and is a great listener. I feel it a blessing to have her as my doctor.
My wife taken here via ambulance after a major car accident. They unloaded her from ambulance and put her in an empty waiting room where she sat for over 7 hours in pain, waiting to be seen. They told us "all rooms are full and they have no ETA"... would not have taken an ambulance if it was not an emergency needing urgent care. They also lost her chart immediately upon getting here and had no idea what was happening. After 7 hours of waiting and asking repeatedly, they realized they had completely forgotten to order the xray or put her on the list. Amazingly useless
Apparently this establishment classifies a drug addict fresh out of incarceration more important than someone with an open head wound. Nurse was very rude when approached about an update stating that this is not a restaurant, people don't get seen in the order they arrive. Sat here for 2 hours watching people getting called back, that arrived after we did. Won't recommend this place to anyone else, the staff at reception need to go to a customer service class and get retaught on how to interact with guests. Absolutely terrible place. Almost can equivalate it to death valley in Arlington.
A substitute MA today, Emma. She was kind, great problem solving with equipment as she's from a completely different office. Emma was engaging and a delight as she took my vitals. My PCP Dr. BAL, is always informative , nice, caring and has my best interest in mind during my visits.
The er staff was great even the drs were very kind. But i ended up getting admitted and a handful of the nurses were so nasty to me and treated me so bad there is now an investigation happening. I really hope they can pull up the cameras from outside my roon and hopefully it has sound so they can listen to what they said. i truly hope this never happens to another person. I ended up taking my own iv out and leaving. I wont go back. I want to make sure everyone is aware that not all the staff were bad. Only a handful of nurses on the second floor that had room 204 bed B from 07/16/2023 - 07/18/2023. Shame on you nurses, just shame on you . if thats how you treat patients you have the wrong job. ... I forgot to add. I spike with a patient advocate and so did my husband ... He also left voicemails and nobody has gotten back to either or us. I also called again today and was told i would recieve a call back... Still waiting
I had breast implant removal with one side ruptured & capsulectomy on other. Dr. Chang performed the surgery. I've had implants since 22yrs old with 2 prior cap selectomies over the past 20 years. I finally decided to have them removed completely, with concerns of structural issues down the road in my breast. Dr Chang and his team did what was in my best interest and I am beyond happy with the surgery, as well as the team. I admit I was expecting the worst having had implants for so long but I am so very pleased and happy and I feel so much better. What I loved most about Dr Chang was he was doing what was best for me. And now I'm more happy than ever. Thank you Dr Chang and the whole staff at Skagit Regional Hospital. Having had this procedures done in the past at a private plastic surgery center, I had the best experience at Skagit Regional ! I hope this story helps others who are looking to have this procedure done in the future.
Coming from an RN's perspective after working here for the past year, this has been a very good little hospital. I've been very fortunate to be able to work with some amazing people there and have so far been extremely impressed with the managers' support for the staffing crisis to try to meet needs as best they can given the COVID situation I walked into and their continued support thereafter.
