Skateland USA West

I love it here. I'll drive an hour just to go here over anywhere else. Staff is mad cool. Never had an issue other than pipe kids taking out knee caps. Some days are quieter than others but always fun. Great music list too.

Great place to skate and have fun in Greensboro, North Carolina! Lots of adorable kiddos laughing and having fun!! Employees are all very nice. I had a very nice lady give me a hug and tell me she thinks I’m great with kids! She said she works at the front desk. I wish I caught her name.

If you get lucky enough to not come here on a day where 6 consecutive birthday parties are happening, and everyone skating is holding hands they all can't skate, they all fall down in front of you. Not to mention those little pieces of PVC pipes on caster wheels, I want them banned. Everyone has one, they're all going super fast, they all fall over. I've seen and heard half the kids in there smack their faces so hard on the ground because of those PVC pipes on wheels. I do like going here because of the old man who's always there, never the same guy, he can always skate really well and gets really into the music. You'll always see one. I went two weeks ago and there was barely anyone there, was one birthday party but the people who were celebrating didn't suck and didn't completely get in the way of everyone else.

It's kind of the only skating rink near us and it's not really near us. It's over an hour away . I wouldn't say it's the best skating like I've been to, but it gets the job done. It's a lot of fun. It's very annoying though to have these little kids with their stupid little roller things or the floor all the time. And you almost run over a kid. I mean i've almost sent kids flying into other countries to be honest, hitting them like high speed because you know I like to go fast. I'm a little crazy. I'm a little bit of a bad boy if you know what I'm saying. There was girl and she had died blue hair and she cut my sister off and my sister almost just like just destroyed her and died if you had blue hair and you were there that day my sister wants to have a war with you. If you know what I'm saying she wants to beat you up. Take you outside, do the whole number the whole nine. In conclusion, it's pretty good. It's kind of the only option in the area so it is what it is

This rink DOES have a very nice floor, that's about where it ends for me. There's very little done for the flow of traffic other than blowing a whistle if you hit a mere 10 mph. That would even be fine... IF I didn't see 12+ incidents of kids dropping cell phones cutting 90° across lanes of traffic, going the wrong way or wrong way + 90° heh... but this was entirely overlooked while competent skaters operating in control were whistled down constantly. Look if you can't manage your alls floor and announce basic skate ettiquite such as slower skaters to the inside faster to the outside.. maybe ya need some help from more experience ld owner/operators.. this setup is conducive for organizing the flow of traffic where less incidents happen AND this leads to a wider range of skill diversity being served.. maybe better management skills are needed so you actually end up with competent skaters which instill a newer skater with the awe that makes them want to come back. Ontop of that you'll be able to readily pick out those who are skating above their capacities when the traffic is organized. But what really threw me for a loop was that the FLOOR GUARD was cutting across lanes of traffic at a 90° and literally not watching where he was going. But blowing the whistle at people in control with ample room.. gotta be kidding me Guess you can't blame kids/patrons when the guard/management has bad habits eh?

We always enjoy going to Skateland USA West. The staff is always friendly. The skating surface is clean and smooth. Both the lighting and sound system seems to be dated and could use a refresh but doesn't dissuade us from going there regularly.

Always a fun time at Skateland. The kids really had a lot of fun and so did the adults. It looks like it is a good place to have a birthday party. The staff is so nice and the price is just fine. We hope to see you there.

This is such a fun place! I always enjoy coming here. A little word of advice though: if you have sensitive feet, you should probably ask for a size higher than your actual shoe size when renting skates. Other than that, this place rocks. The food at the snack bar is great and the rink is just a beautiful place in general. The perfect place for you if you're looking for a good time and some good exercise.

A great place for skating. It is stuck in the 80's, but at least its 1989. Good place for birthday parties, school events, or any other type of loner skating activities you weirdos might be into. Just kidding, come on down, you'll have a great time.
