We enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner with spectacular views. The service was excellent and professional. The food was quite good, with the only exception being that my medium rare steak was more on the rare side not a deal breaker at all. We even had it timed out perfectly to have the 10pm fireworks happen right as we were facing the show. All in all a very nice experience.
We had heard mixed reviews but really enjoyed our experience here. Arrive early as there is quite a wait for the elevators and same on the way down, this was a bit of a bummer. We were seated very quickly on arrival and had a great table by the window. The views are great. Appetizers were hit and miss but shrimp cocktail and French onion soup were good. Main course sea bass was delicious and well cooked. Strip steaks were tough but when mentioned they remade and got back out quickly and were prefect, very accommodating and recovered well. The service we experienced was very good. They brought cheesecake as an apology which was not necessary but appreciated. Would have liked some choice on the sides but with the volume of tourists they put through understand why they don’t. Overall good experience and views are worth the trip.
Pricy for the food served here, definitely paid for the view. Average food, booked appointment but had waited 30 minutes because no next to window seats. Hence missed the sunset mindful you’ll need to get the ticket at the entrance. Then wait with all visitors for Skylon viewpoints, so arrive 20 minutes early if you want be on time. You can either booked for sunset slot or the firework slot, and you’ll have an beautiful night. Definitely recommend for romantic dates or celebration. Free entrance to the view deck and entrance is where the washroom is.
This was a weird experience. From the pictures it looks formal but it’s full of people who have walked off the street with their children making it a mixed atmosphere. I almost wish they’d have a requirement to keep it upscale to make the prices you are paying for your food worth the experience. The seating is also odd. You are either next to the window being looked at by the table next you or you are the table facing the table and window staring at the people in front of you your entire meal. The food was delicious. There was something about having to order an entree to be able to cover your observation deck fee so I couldn’t order an appetizer for my meal. It’s a good deal, I just wasn’t that hungry. We had two servers to help with the whole area. They were both great but one server didn’t seem pleased he had to explain that I had to order an entree, though I didn’t see it printed anywhere. Though it may seem obvious, if you want to see the fireworks, try to get a reservation around 8. That way you can make your way up to the deck by 10. I made a 9pm reservation hoping we’d eat and see the fireworks but we missed them because the restaurant was rotated to the other side. The view is beautiful and food is great. I would recommend.
I was worried, given the mixed reviews. I'm glad I came It's pricey, but I felt worth it- great food, rotating view, great views!! Food: delicious and portions were large. I had the 12oz prime rib, while my wife had the seabass. Both were perfect! As were the French onion soup and apple pie a la mode get this if you have room Service: staff was friendly and attentive The views were icing on the cake It's definitely an expensive meal, but worth it
Well right of the bat. Our waiter Adam couldn’t of been nicer. And his recommendation for dinner. Him the food the view were all perfect 10s. I’ve travel the world and have eaten in places with views. But their food was bad. Everything in this place was perfect. And they topped off with dessert. For our fifty year anniversary. Don’t miss this place if your at the falls.
Worth every bit for the experience! It's a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. This is fine dining with excellent service, and exceptional food. I ordered the chicken breast in the herb sauce, and it melted in your mouth. My boyfriend ordered the Filet Mignon Bearnaise and I'm pretty sure he fell in love on the first bite. The sauce was divine! For dessert we had the Praline Cheesecake and Creme Brulee, both of which were amazing! The floral drinks were also unique and tasty. But even all that does not compare to the view! You get a Birds Eye View over the falls and city, it's breathtaking. Certainly a place to not miss!
Very nice view of the falls, staff is amazing, the food quality was great but the taste was very blend and it wasn’t appetizing. I went for a solo birthday dinner and had a good time, but I will definitely not go back. I was very disappointed when I took a bite off my steak. I would not go back.Food: 2/5
Maybe it was because I went on the Easter long weekend but this dining experience was a disaster. We had reservations but had to wait 45 minutes to get seated. The food was awfully bland, cold and took long to be served. I got an eggplant parm and the cheese had no flavour and was very thick. The eggplant was mushy and had no salt. This restaurant is a waste of your time and money. The CN tower 360 restaurant is a much better experience and not this chaotic. I would recommend seeing the falls from the actual observation area and go to a different restaurant.
The view up here was splendid. The dishes were alright, I think they could have better presentation. The waiters we met were very friendly and accommodating. It was a pricey meal for sure, but definitely worth a try if you’re in search of a vivid Niagara Falls experience.Recommended dishesFrench Onion Soup
