Sleep Health Solutions

Description

If you are one of the many who suffer from poor quality sleep, Sleep Health Solutions can provide you with a safe, comfortable and compassionate environment where your sleep disorder can be diagnosed and effective treatment recommended. We provide daytime studies to accommodate shift workers and are available to conduct studies 7 days a week.

Our sleep technicians take pride in providing you the highest quality of care while offering you the comforts of an atmosphere that re-create a homelike environment similar to your own bedroom. You have a choice of where you want your sleep problems evaluated. We believe that Sleep Health Solutions offers clear, substantial advantages.

Sleep studies are tests that watch what happens to your body during sleep. The studies are done to determine what is causing your sleep problems. While the patient sleeps, the technician gathers data from the following tests.

Polysomnogram (PSG)

-A polysomnographic study can be used to detect a multitude of sleep disorders. This test records several body functions during sleep, including brain activity, eye movement, oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, heart rate and rhythm, breathing rate and rhythm, the flow of air through your moth and nose, snoring, body muscle movements and chest and abdomen movements

Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT)

-If a multiple sleep latency test (MSLT) is being done, you will need to stay at the sleep lab for part of the following day. During an MSLT, you will take a series of scheduled naps beginning the morning after your overnight stay. The purpose is to see if the patient falls asleep during these short periods of time, how long it takes to fall asleep, and which stages of sleep the patient has during the intervals.

-Between naps, you are encouraged to stay awake and move around. The amount of time it takes for you to fall asleep and the patterns of your sleep will be monitored using most of the same equipment used during the polysomnographic studies.

This test helps the physician differentiate between narcolepsy and other disorders of excessive somnolence.

Multiple Wake Test ( maintenance of wakefulness test) (MWT)

-To assess one’s level of alertness. You will be asked to stay awake without napping during the testing period. You will be monitored with most of the same equipment used during the
-Polysomnographic study.

We offer the following treatment assessments

-CPAP Polysomnogram titrations
-Bi-Level Machine pressure titrations and assessments
-Mask Fittings
-Positive airway pressure machine assessments

What treatments are available?

For some, treatment may mean adopting new bedtime routines, and improving sleep hygiene. For others, treatment may involve medications or nighttime use of a CPAP machine.

In Home Testing

Sleep Health Solutions offers your patients a convenient and accurate sleep evaluation in the comfort of their own home. In addition, your practice may be eligible for technical component reimbursement. You and your patient avoid the scheduling delays due to everyday life challenges and the sometimes inconvenience associated with sleep labs scheduling. Sleep Health Solutions offers a unique service to physicians and physician groups by providing a system of sleep screening for “at risk patients” that present with multiple co-morbidity issues. Our test results offer a snapshot of your patients sleep health that allows you to quickly analyze your patient's overall sleep hygiene. The report enables you to better select patients that are most appropriate for more extensive sleep analysis procedures such as PAP titration, dental devices or even surgery.

CPAP Therapy and Equipment

The most effective and least invasive means of treating sleep apnea is with positive airway pressure. Positive airway pressure is the treatment of choice for all patients with moderate or severe sleep apnea and for most with mild but symptomatic obstructive sleep apnea.

Goals of Treatment

The goals of treatment with CPAP are to improve health and overall well-being. The specific objectives are to improve the quality of sleep and to reduce the number of apnea events to safe levels. Improved sleep quality usually alleviates the symptoms caused by sleep apnea. The most common symptoms of sleep apnea that improve are sleepiness and fatigue. However, CPAP can also eliminate or at least improve other problems such as snoring, insomnia, lack of concentration, nighttime urination and frequent nighttime awakenings.

"Sleep Health Solutions provides sleep disorder screening and treatment that will help you improve your energy level, overall health and quality of life by sleeping better."

I wouldn't even give them a 1 - they deserve a zero, and I would not recommend them at all!!! I cannot believe the Cleveland Clinic refers patients to them. They are rude and not empathetic to patients who suffer from a serious health condition. I need minor adjustments done to my machine and have questions since I'm new to this device. Any interaction with a technician is always a negative experience. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
Had some very nice interactions with a great lady that works there by the name of Becky! She was very knowledgeable both in helping me with my home sleep study and picking out a mask. She made the whole process feel much less stressful.
Becky was amazing. She was professional and courteous! She thoroughly explained my machine and made sure i was comfortable with for everything before she left.
Staggeringly incompetent. NO Idea why the Cleveland Clinic uses this business. RX sent in May. 2 calls to "clarify" insurance then in late June they decide my Cigna insurance is not in network. No communication from SHS to me. Was told my order faxed to another company. This company has no record of the order as sent to wrong fax number. Back to square one after waiting over 3 months
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! They only respond to negative emails!! A hassle from day one. They told me they were waiting on insurance to approve the use of my CPAP. Called insurance company to see when it would be done and they said it was approved a month prior to my phone call. Finally get my CPAP and I have questions on how to set adjust settings and cannot get a hold of anybody. All you get is a voicemail to leave a message, but no one calls you back. The one phone number I did have for a live person when I call says voicemail is full.
Was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and was told it would be a 3-4 month wait due to supply chain issues. At 3 months I called them, enquiring how much longer it would be, and they said, "Oh, we have them in stock!" Really? Couldn't have let me know? Then they said someone would call me the following week to set up an appointment for me. Why couldn't they have done it then? Did they call? Of course not. On Friday at 4:30pm, I called them, and they said they had a machine waiting for me. Angrily I said I'd been waiting months for this. You know what their response was? "Excellent!" Who *are* these people? Then they gave me a choice between waiting several more weeks for an appointment with a practitioner to guide me in the product's installation, or they could send me a manual and I could take the DIY approach. I chose the latter. Sure, I've never had to use a machine like this before, and it only governs the trivial issue of breathing. Jesus. I've been waiting around for months with a serious health condition, and these people couldn't be bothered. 0 stars, do not recommend.
After many years of "ignoring my reality" I finally told my doctor about my snoring and possible sleep apnea that my husband had shared with me. My doctor had be do an at home sleep study that showed severe sleep apnea. My doctor scheduled a CPAP machine for me from Sleep Health Solutions. Becky, a respiratory therapist with Sleep Health Solutions contacted me and scheduled a visit with me the following week. She was AMAZING! She showed me how to use the machine and answered all my questions with patience and understanding! A couple weeks later, I contacted her with additional questions and I was greeted with the same level of care! THEN a couple weeks later, I had a phone call with the resupply company who asked me how it was going and what items did I want to reorder. She answered all my questions! I am so incredibly impressed with Sleep Health Solutions!! I know there has been a "back up" in CPAP machines, but it isn't their fault. Like many of us, we waited through Covid to go to the doctor and now everyone expects the CPAP machine ASAP. Please don't blame them! They have been very helpful and I highly recommend them!!
Horrible experience from the start. It was terrible trying to schedule a convenient time with the traveling nurse because she's all over northeast Ohio working. I am not certain my cpap machine was new because she brought it in a box and carrying case. The mask was new because it was in a brand new pack. She did the quickest overview of how to use and clean the machine so she could leave. Cpap supplies are supposed to be replenished often, but the traveling nurse didn't leave any in my bag like she was supposed to. And when the Phillips recall occurred Sleep Health Solutions ghosted everyone. They wouldn't answer the phones for months or return calls or emails. They sent a recorded call months and months later telling us what was going oneven though we knew by this time I got a call last month saying my recall fix was being sent out and I would receive an email with the tracking number, a month later still nothing. Today I got a call from "the resupply department" that NEVER called me to resupply prior to the recall asking if I needed any supplies. I told her I didn't even have my new cpap yet and she said "ok then you don't need supplies" she was very unprofessional and got an attitude when she told me to call the local office, even though she called from the local and only office. And they won't answer the phone anyway Run far away from this place, buy your own cpap or rent online instead of using them.
Go somewhere else to get your CPAP equipment! The first person you'll have to deal with is a travelling nurse who has a huge area to cover and will be hard to schedule with in order to get your equipment fitted. I ended up driving to Cuyahoga Falls to do this. The woman who helped me onsite was friendly and helpful. She even tried to explain my financial obligation and added that many previous clients complain about having to pay for stuff they weren't notified about when getting their CPAP. I figure my insurance would cover most of it -my deductible is $200/yr. First charges were for a monthly "rental" of the equipment which lasted for several months. They sent me bills by mail, and when I asked what it was for, they said the equipment wasn't mine yet, and that I had to pay monthly rental for like 3 months. So I paid the bill to get caught up, but they kept charging me until I eventually stopped paying. Sleep Health Solutions has their own collections department, and I've heard the owner of this clinic is a lawyer. My medical insurance has already paid them, but today, someone stopped at my house trying to collect my CPAP machine saying it was under recall and I was in collections. This place will exercise all means available to milk you for every penny they can get from you. Like I said, go somewhere else to get your CPAP equipment. No where else can be this bad of an experience.
I have had great experience with this company for several years. I was overseas when I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and was ordering all my supplies and machines online. When I was home for a surgery SHS squeezed me in and set me up with a new machine and a way to order supplies automatically through my insurance. Every time I was back in the states they would fit me in despite my hectic limited schedule. They sent me supplies as needed despite the hassle of filling out customs forms to mail it overseas. They have been AWESOME and I am so glad I found them.
