Smallcakes Utopia - Charlotte

I decided to give this place a try and I wasn't disappointed. The cupcakes were very moist and rich. I was barely able to finish 1 because they were big and very filling. I definitely will be back.

Very cute and quaint bakery offering a variety of cupcakes and ice cream. I opted to get the Boston creme pie cupcake and it good, not as moist as I was expecting or wanting it to be, but still had good flavor nonetheless. I would go back and try other flavors. They have some permanent flavors and they rotate other flavors, so something for every tastebud.

Very few cupcake/dessert shops in the University area, and this one is convenient and delicious. It's a quick stop for your favorite flavors. Staff are usually nice.

We went here for the first time in Saturday. You walk in and it smells delicious!! The girl behind the counter was friendly and informed us of the cupcake flavors. She also told us they make their own ice cream there, and allowed us to sample all of the flavors! They were so good, but I decided on the chocolate! We also got half dozen cupcakes. The cupcakes were so moist and flavorful! I don't like a lot of icing so I love it that you can ask for one with less icing and they'll go in the back and prepare it to your liking!!! Huge plus for me!! The family enjoyed it so much, we went back today to try more flavors of ice cream and cupcakes!! This is our new go to spot for cupcakes!!!

I always have to get myself a cupcake when I'm at Armored Cow, these things are addictive! So I knew exactly where I wanted to get my cupcakes for my wedding. Smallcakes Utopia made it easy to order I placed mine over the phone, pay, and pick up. I got them the day before the wedding and they were still perfect the next day. I’ve been here about 3-4 times and the cupcakes are always fresh and delicious. I love how they have a specialty cupcake of the day. My favorite so far has been the pecan pie and the vanilla bean which I sadly think they got rid of. I’ve always had good customer service here too!

I've only tried the cake pops. They were really good. Can't wait to go back and try more of their desserts. I will update my review once I try other items. But based off of the cake pops I would definitely recommend.

This review is overdue, because I absolutely love this shop. My cupcakes have consistently been moist and delicious. Great job. I’m hooked!

I ordered my daughter’s bridal shower cake and cupcakes from here. I have never ordered a cake from them before. The cake was the BEST red velvet cake I have ever eaten.The cupcakes were delicious as usual. They were so nice and helpful when I was ordering. I love this place.

Omg! If you want to know what Heaven smells like just walk in here. I fell in love. They had a beautiful store, great variety, and amazing customer service. The cupcakes are absolutely amazing. I wish I lived closer
