This Smashburger location is located in terminal one of the Minneapolis, St. Paul international Airport, between gates, C 12 and C 13. If you’re hungry, I recommend one of the other establishments as just getting a single hamburger, and french fries resulted in a half hour wait for the food to become ready. The food quality was OK though the french fries were pretty soggy and only semi-warm.
I ordered the sausage, wife ordered the bacon sandwiches with breakfast taters. We're canadian and decided to try it. Good food, reasonably priced.
Employees were great but the avocado burger is shown on the menu as having avocado slices but I received a spoonful of guacamole instead. Avocado slices and guacamole are not the same thing.
I had a great experience at the St. Paul airport Smashburger! The service was fast, the nice lady that gave me my food smiled at me, it was clean, and the food was so delicious! I got the bacon burger, fries, and chocolate shake. The burger was so amazing! It was extremely flavorful. The bacon was crispy, the tomato fresh, and the sauces so perfect. I hope I have a layover at this airport again!
Tasty and fairly quick during light traffic at the counter. About 5-6 minutes once ordered with five orders ahead of mine. Two of the three ordering kiosks were out of service. So I needlessly waited almost as long to place an order as to receive it. The working kiosk was out of paper, so no receipt - problematic for some business travelers. $9.33 for a single-patty mushroom burger, sandwich only, no add-ons. Overly salty for my taste, but flavorful all the same. Not much to look at and not very big, but rather satisfying compared to most other fast food burgers these days. Nice beef patty with a crumbly, homemade sort of texture. No form-poured sponge-meat here, thankfully. In the end, I'd try it again, but there are other options to consider at MSP. Update: another connection at MSP one month later showed two kiosks still out of order but receipt printing worked at the end of my order. Turnaround was about 6-8 minutes even with about 12 orders ahead of mine this time arriving at lunch hour. That's very good for planning on a short connection. For about $1 more than last time, I got the classic burger with two patties. This would be my standard choice on future visits. Super juicy, fresh quality toppings and tasty, still a bit too salty. Next time, I would try to request no added salt during cooking. Overall, this is a good option when passing through. Quick and satisfying.
Good burger. Popular place, so there was a wait for the food after I ordered.Food: 5/5
Rude staff who say they are too busy to take an order and just use the kiosk while having only 2 pending orders. Wouldn't sell me a way over priced beer because only managers can sell beer and she was just way to busy to make an appearance. Went next door to chick-fil-a who was at least 5 times busier and was in and out in 8 min with the goods. Walked down to the next resturant who sold beer and got me a much better beer for half price after talking them up about what had happened. Was back and eating and drinking my lunch before the 2 pending orders were done. Might try them again someday but not sure.
I waited for 25 minute 1 burger, French fries, coke and a cob salad. They gave my salad to somebody else and discussed with me saying that I didn't have a salad in my order. I finished helping them because they didn't have any idea were they left my order, at that time my burger was cold and the fries soggy. Please they need to be trained. They have not idea what are they doing.
I got the bacon double Smash. It was pretty good. To much Mayo and was seasoned well but after I got more than half way through the salt started to build and got to be a bit to much before I finished. I’m not salt sensitive so it had to be a lot. The fries were crispy and the service was good. They weren’t very busy when I arrived. All in all a decent experience for fast food. I know airport food can be pricey but $19 for a burger, fries and drink is just a lot. But par for the course in an airport
I've gone to this location several times now and it doesn't matter what I order, or how many people are in line, it takes 20-30 minutes minimum for your food to finish. Then, when it's done, the employee stands with your food in hand talking to the employees in the back for 5 minutes before calling your number. Every time it's the same experience. Chickfilet next to it may look like a longer line, but they're much much quicker. If you plan to eat here on your lunchbreak, don't. You'll waste your whole break and go hungry.
