Me and I wife just came in here for a quick little bit. Nobody else was in here, customer wise.. It was in the middle of the day, but the staff was very attentive and make sure the fountain drinks was working. We got the smashed tots and they we're pretty good, very oily because of the Olive oil, but that's what you get, but it was very flavorful.. Tables were clean, all the chairs pushed in, and they are very attenive to the dining room area.. Wheelchair accessibility: There was plenty of room for my mobility scooter without any problems throughout the restaurant..
I like Smashburger typically overall but this was basically a dumbed Down menu being in a casino very limited options. I had to ask them to make my 3 yr old granddaughter a basic burger with cheese plain and it was like $10 kind of silly but... service was longer than typical, the fries have historically been really wonderful but this time tasted kind of microwaved which is disappointing considering the cost but portion was huge nonetheless.
The burger and fries was so-so, they forgot the toppings and pickles…but the chicken sandwich was absolutely terrible. was so over fried the breading tasted burn. Even smelled like old oil and the Chicken was ver very dry. Like too dry to even eat. Very upsetting and will never eat there again.Food: 1/5
Good burger; we ate here a few times during our stay. Turkey burger & our bacon burger were decent; nice char on the patty & lots of bacon. Half of patty & condiments weren't on the bun but easy fix. The Cobb salad was fantastic, packed with lots of toppings!! We had the salad a few time as one isvplenty for two adults. Fries are delicious; must mix in the bag for maximum dispersion of the garlic & herbs on the fries. We had the chicken tenders too, good batter, moist meat & good portion size. This location is open late & does allow you to earn Ceasars Rewards. Only downside side is the prices!!
Don't bother eating here! We waited over 45 minutes for our food order, along with 7-8 other people who came in before us. They always seem to be out of stuff-today it was tots, chicken tenders and of course, milkshakes. The burgers were lukewarm, congealed, very greasy, flat and basically soggy. There was only one cook, and the 2 women working the counter were very slow, and not paying attention to customers. A customer was bussing tables. And the piece de resistance- 4 orders had the same order #!! As a franchise, this Harrah's location is a loser. I have been to many Smash's and have NEVER had such poor quality and service. They need to step it up, hire quality staff and represent Smash as we all know it.
Worst experience I ever had. Cold food no meat in my hamburger. I got a double bacon and they gave me a single couldn't even see the meat. The frys were swimming in the old they put on it. Denise was very rude she wanted me to eat what I didn't want she was sent to the kitchen because she was so rude.Food: 1/5
I have never been to Smashed Burger. Have always wanted to try it. I’m so sorry I did. Could be the location but highly disappointed. It took over an hour to get our food. The orders were made in different orders. When I asked why this was happening, the answer was they we short staffed and that we ordered tatter tots. People that ordered after us got burgers. I guess expect to wait a long time and don’t order tots. Our burgers sat under a warm light for 15 minutes.
The food itself was really on par for Smashburger. The fries with a little extra oily but I like the burger and the tots and fries with seasoned very well. Like most everything at the Harrah though they just don't have enough staff. We went to Smashburger so it would be quicker than a restaurant but it was probably an hour from start to finish. The two ladies that were there were very kind and patient with our ordering. There were probably six small group of two and threes in line. But very long turn around time to actually get food out. Sad that these places just don't have the staff to keep with the crowd. Take your patience when you go.
I have never eaten at Smashburger. The reason I have never eaten there is after a 40 minute wait in line the cook came out from the back and said they would not take any more orders because they were out of “fries, tots, bacon, milkshakes, give me an hour and I can start taking orders again”. Seriously? After 40 minutes in line? This was your franchise in Harrah’s Casino in Laughlin Nevada. The franchise is making your brand look bad. Franchise owner needs to seriously address the crew. They should all be fired. My first visit to a Smashburger left a bad taste in my mouth….and I never got to eat anything. This is a follow up from yesterday’s review. Don’t bother sending the obligatory comment regarding your concern that everyone has a great experience. You can’t be that concerned. The following is how you stepped it up the next time I tried to get something.
Waited 45 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 orders of tots. When finally served… our burgers were luke warm at best, tots cold and soggy. The areas were dirty, fountain machine not working. Our first experience at this chain, was super excited and am sooo disappointed.Food: 1/5
