Place in complete construction site look. Tables and chairs outdoors very dirty. Waited over 20 minutes for three burgers and fries. While the burgers were good, the experience convinced us to avoid this location
Used to be decent place. Haystack onions very oily. New caramelized onions were only grilled. Ordered two avocado smash burgers. Got one with chicken and the other without avocados.
We placed an order and gave them over 1 hr lead time to have the meals prepared and ready by a designated time. Upon arrival, we found that there was still "AT LEAST" a 20 min wait still before the order would be ready. I'm seeing no real rush from those in the grilling area. People are turning around and leaving. Tables are being left a mess. Serious improvement is needed. The food is usually good here which is why I gave them 2 stars. Update: from the time we placed our order until the time the order was ready was over 1.5hrs. The store didn't receive the order until 1 hour after it was placed online. They got the order 9 minutes before it was supposed to be ready. Also come to find out that there is only 2 people in the grilling area. 1 person for burgers and 1 person for fries. Really? Putting the short staffing issue aside, one was just putting around while they waited for their next basket to be done. Food wasn't as good as usual Missing sauce for one order. There was a refineries worth of oil in the tots. Shakes were sub-par and majorly ice chunky. My wife has a blood sugar issue so we need to place orders in advance. For the store to get the order 1hour after it was placed, and then still have to wait over 30 mins after they received it is beyond acceptable. She could have had an episode and I would have had to rush her to the E.R. due to their inefficiencies and negligence. This whole experience is disappointing and we will debate on coming back. Also removed a star for the reasons in the update.
Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it. BBQ Bacon cheddar with the crunchy onion topping and SmashFries basil and oil are delicious! Staff is friendly. There is outdoor seating.Food: 5/5
This restaurant should not be open yet. It is still under construction and if anything needs renovation it is the kitchen. The chicken wings that our friend ordered were raw. The staff seemed to have no idea what we ordered. They asked if we were missing anything when HALF of our order had not come yet. Everything came out one at a time. The fries and milkshakes not until everyone was done with their sandwiches. Food was COVERED in grease. They seemed very unprepared to offer food service.
Had to place order twice, I guess the kid on the register was not properly trained and still making minimum wage which I think January 1’st goes up to $14 and change per hour. I don’t know who decided to renovate this particular location, there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. This must be why the prices went up? If I am paying $10 for a burger I would like it to be cooked to my liking, just saying. Vegetarian options: Plenty of salads and such. Kid-friendliness: They hav a kids menu. Parking: Plenty of parking it’s a strip mall.
Unless you have an hour and a half to spare and stop for lunch this one in East Brunswick is the place for you. But when the cashier is taking orders, bagging orders AND delivering orders to tables service is incredibly slow. Very expensive for mediocre food.
Always a pleasure eating here. Cashier is always super friendly and knowledgeable of menu. Cooks always make the food is hot and fresh.Recommended dishesClassic Smash, Tots, Tater Tots
Food is great but it’s always such a long wait , every time my girlfriend and i come . One of us gets our food and one of use has to wait , to get extra pickles is a big deal lol
Waited 30 mins for 2 burgers. I always liked smashburger but those 2 burger were hard on the edges and made me and my son sick. Also didn't even have BBQ sauce on them. Very disappointed Parking: Very busy today in the shopping center so the parking was far.
