Nice campground with friendly workers that were so nice to help us out with a spot for the night while we were having truck problems. They were nice and waited for us to arrive later in the evening. Thank you for being so kind! They set us up with an easy pull through site. There are some nice nature trails there but we didnt have much time to check them out. I cant really say too much about the campground because we were only there one night. Thank you for a nice place to stay during a stressful situation!!
Absolutely disgusting! We spent the weekend here… not even sure where to start this but, There was 2 used tampons in the swimming pool the first night. When I called the front to tell them someone who claimed to be the owner “Andi” was extremely rude and told me “that’s gross YOU need to grab the net and take them out!” I explained that we were here for the weekend and she said “if you want to complain then go somewhere else”. When we packed our stuff the leave she came flying over on her golf cart screaming at our family using profanity in front of our toddlers. I almost had to call the police just for us to leave. We were absolutely baffled! I never thought reporting a simple issue to the proper person would create such a ruckus. Stay clear of this place if you are looking for a clean environment with professional staff for your weekend getaway. If only negative stars were an option.
We rented a rustic cabin recently. We loved our visit here and will return. The restrooms/showers are very clean. Beautiful park and area.
I haven't been here in a long time. They do have nice sandwiches and lunch meats. I remember going when I was much younger. I remember getting Hershey's deep dish apple pie cream from here, and now I can't find it anywhere.
This campground has the WORST ownership/management I have ever encountered. The owner “Andi” has ZERO listening skills. Hands-down the rudest person I’ve ever done business with. She listens only to what she wants to hear and then lies through her teeth to twist things the way she wants them. Beware of purchasing any camp she recommends because she will not stand by ANY statement she makes. Additionally don’t even bother with the “restaurant” inside the campground. The menu is extensive however unless you like microwaved food you will be sadly disappointed AGAIN don’t even attempt to make a comment about the quality, it will fall on deaf ears!
Very clean and friendly campground. Plenty for kids to do. Clean facilities and awesome lakes. Sites were big and easy to access whole campground.
The sites could stand to be a wee bit larger, but otherwise a very nice place. Lots of nice big trees make for lots of shade. They don't accept credit/debit cards, so bring plenty of cash or your checkbook.
I love this little campground don’t get me wrong but I was there the other night with my girlfriend trying to get ice cream. While I was standing outside looking at the ice cream my girlfriend was inside the store and heard the staff say “we only have 3 minutes left just shut off the lights”. I was not very pleased with the staff that night at all. The only other problem is that they will not accept card you HAVE to get cash out to shop, eat, or drink here. So if you are coming here or staying here make sure u bring cash with ya.
What an amazing place, they literally have everything you need for an awesome vacation they have a store that carries most everything you could possibly need a restaurant on the grounds and super awesome ice cream FYI you have to try the taco salad it was awesome with extra awesome sauce.
Nice older rustic CG with great ice cream shop. May need additional sewer and water hoses for connections depending on site. Extra blocks needed for some sites for leveling
